Bought this as a gift for my parents who said they were having trouble hearing the TV. Fairly easy hookup using the supplied optical cable. Now they claim they are hearing all the "little" sounds like leaves rustling and wind blowing that they did not know where even there before. Good product for the price.

This thing rocks! Initially purchased to use with basement TV, but the kids have claimed it as their streaming speaker of choice when they're doing fitness videos or running on the treadmill. Nice tight bass and natural sounding detail.

We were having issues with hearing the voices coming from our tv as the speakers were in the back and on the sides of the tv. This brought all sounds forward and the sub woofer creates the perfect addition to make it feel like a small theatre!

JBL is one of the best audio brands money can buy. 10/10 would recommend to people looking for high quality while not really breaking the bank. If I had heard the sound bar before I saw the price tag, I would’ve easily given them $300 maybe more for it.

Great speakers and base for a medium sized living room. Setting up the sync between soundbar and woofer is a little tricky and JBL should really provide instructions on how to it in the manual. But plenty of videos out there that say how to set it up.

Good sound bar but inconsistent connection with TV

I highly recommend this soundbar system. It does not take up much room and sounds great. Movies and tv shows sound great and fill the room with crisp, clear sound. Easy setup and great quality at a great price.

Bring Netflix and chill to a whole new level. All this bass will defiantly get your date tingling. For real though, the sound quality is unbelievable and it turns my little apartment into a movie theater. For the price and ease to you JBL can't be beat!

The soundbar has good sound, but the sub woofer actually doesn't get as loud as we expected or hoped considering the soundbar's output. It's good for most movies and TV, but if you're a bass fanatic, I'd try something else.

This JBL 2.1 soundbar makes you think you are at the movies.Very loud and the action sounds are unbelievable.I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great sound.

I have one of these at work hooked up to a video projector. Does a nice job. Hope I like this one as much in my house. Lacks the midrange for dialog but does a decent job in most situations.

I have my TV mounted above the fireplace. The sound was going over my head. Always had to turn volume up. This sound bar solved my problem and I am able to hear it better and now I use a lower volume. High quality volume.

This is a great sound bar with subwoofer. It has excellent highs and lows. Voices are crisp and clear. Would have given a 5 star, but I think it's a little pricey.

Linking the sub is infuriating. First, the instructions don’t even mention linking the sub. I link stuff all the time, so no problem. Nope. Watched 3 or 4 YouTube vids. No luck. Watched vid at JBL on linking sub. No luck. Moved close. Nope. Moved far. Nope. Quit four different times. Finally it linked after a couple hours doing the exact same thing we did at the start. It sounds good...but so do other bars. No reason to buy this with the competition having their systems fine tuned.
