Good sound, but some of the lights went out on the "display" within a couple months of using it. It also turns on and off throughout the day on its own, many many times a day. The input switches on its own as well.

Sound was great but exactly after 1 year 1 week the subwoofer stopped working. Just the soundbar is useless. I suggest to buy protection plan or go for something that lasts longer.

Bought in Delaware was told on the website that it was in “excellent” condition only to receive it with no box and both ends of the soundbar dented in + scrapes/dents all over the subwoofer. How is that considered excellent condition? Thankfully the gentleman who I returned it to in Philly made the experience way better. Was really disappointed as I’ve got a JBL open box before and it was perfect.

There is very minimal base on the highest bass setting (20). The volume when connected to a bluetooth device is horrible. With the volume level turned all the way up a bluetooth device is barely able to be heard. If you want a good or better product this then this isn't for you. If you want a mediocre product that makes its manufacturer look like a novice then this is the product for you.

It was harder to open the box than to set this up,all I did was plug in the power cords and the optical cable no painting at all for the sub woofer or my tv remote, sounds good but could use a little more base from the woofer but has enough when it needs it very good for a normal size front room

Bought sound bar and tv. Didn’t hook up for two weeks then noticed problems. Thought it was the cable Had cable company check everything. Determined sound bar was bad didn’t know about 15 day return. Not crazy about paying 300 dollars for a repaired sound bar

I absolutely love this soundbar set up. Looks amazing on the wall, the sub looks great too. It sounds fantastic, I previously used a Klipsch sound bar and this JBL sounds 10x better. I have JBL's in my Home Theater room also, this sound bar is right up there in quality of sound. Easy to setup and mount, highly recommend.

After 1 yr 3 months of usage the subwoofer gave out, it rattles really bad when the volume is raised more than halfway.

The sound is very tinny. Overall it’s really not much of an improvement over the TVs little speakers. Ultimately a fairly expensive waste of time.

This soundbar is replacing a Sony HT-CT290 that was 6 months old a died on me out of nowhere. The power for the sub just shut off one day and the sub would no longer power on. Sony didn't do much to help me so I chose the go with JBL. I already own a few of their Blue Tooth Speakers and wired earbuds, so I figured I'd try this 2.1 sound bar.......well for the money spent this soundbar is AMAZING! It not only outperforms the Sony HT-CT290, but its sound quality is on a whole other level! The Sony sounded like louder TV Speakers with an under powered sub connected to it. It only sounded decent when the subs output was maxed out and the volume turned way up (yes night mode was disabled and clear audio + was enabled). The JBL BAR 2.1 by comparison has crisper highs, MUCH better mids and bass that will put a smile on your face. The sub on this system alone is just amazing for its size, physically the enclosure is smaller then the Sony's but the actual driver is larger and puts out very good bass at any volume level. This JBL 2.1 system is a true sound system that will add allot to any entertainment setup, movies, music and even TV Shows all come to life with this system. The best part of all is how slim and compact this JBL System is. Its looks are unassuming yet it packs a punch that will impress you. Feature wise this system has allot of sound settings and connectivity. The BT connects super easy and even allows you to use the sound bars remote to skip tracks and adjust the volume. Also having a small LCD display is worlds better then a basic light display. Sooooo if you're looking at the Sony because of it's cheap price and "300watt" output I'd say skip it. This JBL BAR 2.1 system is also 300 watts and yet is blows the Sony out of the water at any volume level. I haven't found anything about this system yet that hasn't disappointed me, its just a great system from a great company.

Soundbar didn’t sounded worse than the TV speaker. Subwoofer did not function. Had to return and purchase a different item.

This sound bar was horrible. I returned it the next day and ordered a better one online.

This is my first sound bar purchase and I am extremely happy with JBL sound quality. This 2.1 sound bar along with wireless sub produces blasting sound. Set up is quite easy. Somehow, I couldn't connect it to HDMI ARC port of TV as it was repeatedly giving me a message on TV to try using HDMI 3 ARC port. Connected it via Optical cable. Bass is super cool. After spending some time playing with remote, discovered that sound quality is supremely awesome when you switch it either to the 'Sports' or 'Movies' mode. Got a good deal during Thanks giving period. Thanks to Best Buy.

Should have saved the extra money and went with Samsung.

JBL let me down with this one. Went with the Samsung.

Bought and returned a samsung and sony soundbar all in the $200 to $300 range. Partly because of sound (sony), partly because the bluetooth wouldnt sync (samsung 3 channel).....Saw the JBL (Ive used their speakers for 30 years).... I WAS BLOWN AWAY! Simple, Sleek, and gave me an all around fuller sound even more than the 3 channel soundbar. Bass is just what you need and the bluetooth synced in seconds....When you want sound, go to the sound people. JBL is awesome.
