The sound is great, however it wasn’t completely clear in how to hook it up properly. We finally figured it out.

Bought an open box item but it works great with no issues. My favorite part is probably the sub as it is really powerful and gives you more than enough lows. The only con is that there are three volume settings. The sound bar produces great sound and sounds much better than my previous Sony 2.1 system.

First sound bar I’ve purchased but it definitely provides clean bass and gives the effect of surround sound if the sub is properly located in the room, so I ended up purchasing another smaller version of this JBL sound bar system for another room looking forward to having that installed as well

Speaker is good, subwoofer makes a loud popping noise every other day. It’s scares everyone in the house.

We picked this up about a month ago and we love it. Super easy to set up, great sound quality and the simulated surround effects sound really good. I would definitely recommend this And with the 10" subwoofer it outshines the other options.

This combo is great for the price. Rich sound and deep bass. Set up was easy.

I love how easy this was to set up. Simply plug and listen. My smart TV recognized the new device immediately. The sub woofer has 5 settings (2 is enough for casual listening to TV shows) and absolutely thumps on 5. Very pleased.

I personally have a well integrated Sonos system, and was looking for a more simple, set up consisting of two peas, but able to give the impression of a 5.1 system, something easy to connect and something more easily used by my elderly parents..set up was without any hiccup and optional ethernet/HDMI with ARC capabilities in addition to smart home integration, and Bluetooth control. I was impressed by this particular JBL “ surround sound” system. Compared to standard sound bars, and of course the TVs built-in speaker system. I was very impressed with the sound stage in ability to control multiple levels, in addition to its integration with the fire TV and its remote control. I would purchase again, and highly recommend five stars.

Very good soundbar for the price. If you get it on the current sale ($299) it’s even better. We got it for $399 and it was well worth it. We ended up upgrading to the JBL 9.1 (with the detachable speakers) but this one is solid if you aren’t looking for surround speakers or Dolby atmos.

This is a great soundbar. It is easy to set up, and has crystal clear audio. I felt the subwoofer could have done a little more, but positioning it strategically in a corner or proper location in your room helps.

Love the sound. we wish we could program the soundbar to raise and lower the volume with our TV remote.

The good: does a decent job of emulating 5.1 surround sound, though if the layout of your room allows for physical rear speakers, get physical rear speakers. The bad (or at least irritating): I had to connect the soundbar to the internet via an Ethernet connection when I first set it up since I couldn't get it to connect over wifi out of the box. The Ethernet connection allowed it to update the firmware, which in turn allowed me to set up the wifi connection. The wifi connection holds for 4 or 5 days before the soundbar loses its ability to connect to the internet. Only way to reconnect to the internet over wifi seems to be a hard factory reset, which is not something I am interested in doing every 4 or 5 days. Not a complete deal breaker, but I had been looking forward to playing music via alexa through the soundbar, but it's a bigger pain that it's worth for that feature.

It was the best purchased we have ever made. We loved it. Sound is great and i wouldnt say much about how clear the sound and the echo sounds around the room. Would totally recommend. Easy to set up and bass sounds amazing.

It's still very new. The sound seems fine. It looks nice and hopefully will continue to work for a long while. It was a great deal.

Way better sound bar than the last one I got from bestbuy. Really enjoy the full base that it provides. It stays on in sleep mode until your tv is on and then it automatically wakes up.. no extra buttons needed to turn it on or up. Paired perfectly on it own with my system.

This sound bar and subwoofer sounds amazing. I have it hooked to a 65" Samsung; it fits perfectly between the tv's legs and doesn't interfere with the remote. The sound that this thing can produce is very clear and, depending on the settings, can produce a chair shaking bass.

Was debating between this and and Samsung as most everything I own is Samsung. Do not regret ordering this at all. The Bass from the 10" sub is amazing vs the 6" on the Samsung. Crystal clear audio and easy to control with arc connection and tv remote. Would highly recommend!

Lifetime user of JBL speakers (L112's,Studios) this is my first soundbar for my HDTV, read a lot of reviews of other brands but as a loyal JBL user this one had some good reviews and with the bigger 10" subwoofer it was a no brainer, outstanding sound and kickass sub, highly recommanded.

After plowing through 2 Samsung systems, we have reached the "Answer" in this system. Size matters (watts). Crisp, sound violation level sound. Thumping subwoofer. Can you listen safely at full volume? Not sure because, its too freakin loud. This is a nice kit for sure.
