Was hoping for more clarity at low volumes in the bedroom. Noticed no discernable upgrade over the tv speakers. When connected in the living room, the sub will rumble but the highs are tinny and the mids were muffled. This was after utilizing the room corrections for both scenarios. I bought it because of the great reviews and sale price. I returned it and will hold out for something better.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this as replacement for a similar strength Visio sound bar, I wanted some rear speakers as the former had, however the price jump for sound bars with a subwoofer and rear speakers doubled the price and no this just does not have the same quality sound and no potential to add speakers. Take the next step up this will disappoint.

So, now today Sept, 18th the subwoofer has been having that crazy extra thump to it where you can tell something is definitely not right. I looked on JBL website and they are closed for the day so I will definitely be hitting them up in the morning 9am est. Its crazy cuz it’s been less than 3 months since I’ve purchased it and on top of that I barely play it on the regular so that’s an extra disappointment!
