JBL 5.1 10” Subwoofer

Mine was missing one power cord. The max volume is only 31 and the subwoofer bass has low medium and high in which there is not much of a difference. For a 10” subwoofer I expect a lot more.

Almost Perfect

However, the subwoofer crossover is so high that I can hear vocals coming from the sub. That is very distracting when watching dialog heavy content and was a deal breaker for me.

Not So Good

I have 2 of the SB400 soundbars by JBL and was hoping that this would be a upgrade. This soundbar doesn't even compare to how well the older model sounds. I was sooo disappointed. I will take the hit on a restocking fee and return this item.

Samsung surround system

With a 10" subwoofer it should have had a lot more of bass. I have another Samsung system that has a 6" subwoofer that blows this one away and it has only 310 Watts.

The sound is good

Disappointing

It has great quality when it’s working properly. I’m super disappointed when it started switching audio sources on its own after 30 minutes of watching a movie, and after the first occurrence it was every 3-5 minutes that it would go quiet for 3 seconds and come right back on. I have my Xbox series x hdmi running in to the sound bar and a fishhook 4K hdmi running out to my projector. Sound quality is great but I don’t know how to fix it. So far only happens with movies. Super disappointed in this purchase..

Bad IR Sensor

The infrared sensor must be so bad because I have to close one eye and aim directly at where the LCD display is located on the unit to turn the volume up or down. It doesn’t matter how close I am. I haven’t seen other complaints like mine so I doubt the reviews are even real.

Ok sound bar

A little disappointing for the price and JBL. The remote receiver is not sensitive enough and requires sometimes numerous attempts for the unit to respond. If you are looking for a lot of bass look elsewhere.

ok, but go into the store and try the bars first.

So I returned this one.

Unacceptable audio and video sync with TV

BLUETOOTH issue

SOOOOOO annoying. Takes more time to turn off/on a few times to get it to work again. Why is this happening to a brand new unit?

Don't buy if you use Apple TV

I am using eARC and use Apple TV remote to control sounder, TV and Apple TV, with this setup sound bar keeps switching between HDMI and TV for apparently no reason. This makes the screen go blank at random. I tried to reset the bar to factory change HDBI cable, tried using it with another TV but the issue persists.

Sound Quality Not So Great!
