Poor bass

great sounds but Arc didn't work as expected

HDMI Arc should auto pass through the HDMI signal from the input but does not. need 2 remote to manage input. after they correct that I would consider buying it again

So Dissatisfied With This And BestBuy

It plays thru the Bluetooth, but can't get it to play from the television. Tried calling Best Buy and was on hold for over an hr before I hung up. Going to return tomorrow.

The amp shuts off the subwoofer while playing music due to not being able to handle it. Weak. I returned it and got the JBL sound bar 5.1 speakers. That’s more like it.

Awful firmware and hdmi video transfer

The front speakers were also essentially a soundbar with an HDMI ARC input/output. Never had any issues. Got rid of it while moving and didn’t feel like complaining neighbors in an apartment, so this seemed like a nice compromise with a new TV.... the sound is ok... nothing to write home about. And it certainly doesn’t justify that with the hdmi video signal going through it sometimes it takes 20 minutes of playing with settings and switching inputs to trick it into actually sending the TV a signal it’ll recognize. Overpriced garbage imho.

Only bass and nothing else.

Terrible don’t buy jbl ever

Reconnecting it to WiFi all the time and have to factory reset to get it to work again. I bought the unit in March of 2020 only comes with a 1 year warranty and now product stopped working completely. I will never buy jbl again I have friends who spent half the price on audio systems that blow this system away in every aspect jbl needs to step its game up this product is absolutely trash

Volume level sucks azz. Not sure if I got a dud.

Not loud enough for me to justify $500 price tag. I have 75' Sony X800H 4k TV and this $500 speaker system only make it a little bit louder than my tv built in speakers. The subwoofer drowns out the soundbar volume. I have to crank the soundbar volume to max to enjoy it. If I don't then it will sound like my tv built in speakers. I did go to my two best buy stores to check this demo unit out before buying it, and for some reasons they won't let me crank the volume to the max to check how loud it is.

Bought new for half off, still not worth it

Annoying sound issues.

You're gonna have issues. It kept losing sound like crazy. Not sure why jbl has so many issues. I had the older model and the sub kept disconnecting. They have some bad quality issues that needs to be fixed. I wanted to like the sound bar. But losing audio all the time is something I couldn't deal with. You might have better luck then me. I bought it brand new not open boxed. But best buy had a lot of these soundbars open box. So I'm guessing people had issues like me.

Terrible purchase

Has no bass and no adjustments to further enhance sound. It is clear but not worth the money. I listened to this bar in the store and it sounds nothing like that once Installed. I bought for the name and made a mistake. Take a look at Klipsch. Better value for less money

Awful system

Right out of the box this system was a pain to deal with. The subwoofer wouldn't connect to the sound bar, I tried contacting JBL support and it was impossible to get a hold of them. After spending hours trying to get the sub to talk to the sound bar I gave up and returned it.
