Stay Away

Disconnect, Reconnect, unpair, pair, different HDMI cable, Nothing… Spent an hour on a customer support chat with JBL and was told it is a software issue that will be corrected with an OTA update…That was a month ago… I have given up

Crap! What happened JBL?

No control on the base and trying to get it to connect to Bluetooth is a joke. I have a 8 year old JBL sound bar and 8” cordless sub and it puts this to shame! Do not buy! It’s not even loud! Crap!

Buy the 3.1

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the 3.1 and by far the 3.1 blows this one away. 5.1 weaker treble and bass. 3.1 volume 25 (max 40) is similar to the 5.1 at max. Bass selection 5.1 low/med/max not ideal. 3.1 is ranged way better. Disappointed.

Piece of garbage..

Do not waste your money on this piece of trash. Absolutely frustrating and I will never purchase jbl again, ever...

soundbar remote

Unable to sync with new Samsung tv.

Tried both hdmi and optic cable no good. Geek Squad was no help they kept blaming the cable company. Waist of time and money, I will be returning it.

Garbage!!

It constantly turns on and off with no one watching TV. Last night while watching a show it turned itself off three different times. Of course, I am not outside of the return window. don't waste your money!!!

Sound bar cuts out

So I contacted jbl they had me update and its still having the issue, unfortunately I threw the box away, if i could return it i would. I just want a soundbar that works

Weak Vocals/ Extreme Dynamics

Problem: Extremely weak vocals, poor mid-range, and extreme dynamics that are too loud. A $500 system should have separate treble/ mid-range/ bass controls.
