Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Samsung 65 inch tv and the JBL 5.1 Soundbar MY only complaint is that the Geek Squad did not leave the remote control for the JBL soundbar. I do have the remote for the TV. Another Geek Squad team came out a couple days later and could not find the remote control . I would like Best Buy to get me the original control for Model JBL2GBAR51IMBLKAM so that I would at least have it on hand

It will take you 5 hours at least to figure out how to connect the soundbar with TV and another 5 hours to connect your soundbar to your wireless sub!! Even their tech support needs level 2 support for assistance connecting this product, and of course, you can speak to them. They will get back to you by email. I don't think it's worth the money to pay 200$ more and get the bose 900; at least it has the Dolby Atmos. The quick start is entirely useless, and the website doesn't have the links referred to in the quick start manual. No youtube video whatsoever to show you how to connect this device. You think the soundbar and wireless sub will be starting forward, but not even remotely need to be connected to the device. If you like mysteries and don't have a job, buy this product, and figure it out. No more JBL products!!

So bad, thought it was defective.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For a $500 system, fell flat. Only controls are low-mid-high bass!?!??! No other controls on a 5.1 system? Bass was weak as compared to the size of the Bass Box. Thought it would shake the house. Not even close. Tried multiple connections from Optical to ARC HDMI with included cable. Also annoying was how SLOW the volume control was to adjust. For $500 it needs to be immediate, not a 2 second delay. It replaced a $150 LG 2.1 unit. I returned the JBL and reinstalled the LG unit which sounds better, had more adjustments and Bass rumbled the room. Just terrible and tinny sound.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Jbl 5.1 ...don't waste your money.on it....if I could give zero stars I would....vocals are crap and the bass is weak no matter what setting your on...this should be a 200.00 sound bar at most....had a sb400 that lasted 4 years and sounded amazing too bad it broke 4 months out of warranty...oh well .going to try something different now ..jbl has always been my go to sound bar...not no more

Posted .We'd like to work with you directly and try some steps with your JBL Bar 5.1. We would recommend checking the equalizer settings of your TV and the soundbar. It would also help to adjust the volume on both devices to make sure that the audio is working.
