Excellent sound and quick setup. Make sure to setup the wifi cause there is a update right off the bat. One notable change is that there are now 5 audio levels for bass instead of 3. Just make sure to use the correct hdmi port based on the situation. It's all in the easy setup guide. The only knock I'd mention is the misunderstanding around chromecast. When I think of chromecast you are able to share video. The chromecast on this is only for streaming audio, which is not mentioned anywhere. I had hoped I could get out of buying another streaming device for the tv.

Best purchase I’ve made for my home theater set up. No more need for subtitles thanks to the 5.1 set up. The sub also puts out some great vibrations. Perfect for the price.

I originally always liked buying the speakers, subwoofer and receiver separately because it’s more power. But it’s also a little more pricier but the power is unmatched. But I seen that this jbl had 550 watts of power and a 10inch subwoofer. It also saves way more space than a receiver and huge speakers. I just had to try it out to see how good it was... I am honestly blown away. The power on this sound bar is ridiculous lol THIS SOUNDBAR IS SO LOUD......the bass is is clean and rattles the windows. It excels with music, movies and gaming. 500 dollars is a little pricy but sometimes you have to pay for quality and it’s worth every penny. Plus I got it on sale for 400 lol I’m super happy wit this purchase.

Sound quality is excellent. Pairing with Sony tv occasionally doesn't sync. Recommended by Geek Squad member over more expensive models. Only complaint is that I wish it was jet black instead of smoke grey to match tv better.

Bought this at what i thought was a steal at $170 open box excellent. The packaging inside the box looked brand new. No scratches or dents and all protective contents like new. I thought it was great. Powered it on and HDMI input didnt work and neither did the bluetooth. Its like did anyone even test this thing before putting back up for sale?? Only the optical worked however I want to use the tv remote to control sound using the HDMI connection. There werent any open boxes at any locations around me to exchange it with (couldnt exchange it for a new condition in store had to be open box excellent). Now its not on sale anymore. Major disappointment. Theee stars only because it sounded good when i tried it with optical connection. This may not be the case with all open box versions but if the price is too good to be true it probably is. Deciding now if i want to buy it new. Buy it new and dont mess with the open box.

THE sound bar provides better sound and some bass with the sub This was not meant to be a high end audiophile setup, so I am pleased with the function and sound. Best Buy shipped ahead of schedule and provided support as needed, what else could you ask for.

I was going to go for bose or sonos but ended up going with the JBL because it was on sale and ive been pleased with theor other speakers. I bought this to complement my new movie screen and projector and it didn’t disappoint.

Really easy setup & overall, sounds really good & seems to interconnect easy with my LG TV & Apple TV box. Only complaint is that there seems to be a very quick progression from low to volume to a level that is too much. so have to be careful when adjusting volume up as it's very easy to get too loud quickly

Great sound quality and easy set-up. Unit runs extremely hot to the touch and is NOT responsive to the remote control. I would not purchase again.

Overall I am very happy with this soundbar. It is a replacement for a very old Bose Cinemate. Good, wide sound field with a nice punch from the wireless subwoofer. I have it paired with a Samsung 7 series 55 inch HDTV. Setup was a breeze using HDMI ARC. I do notice a bit of a lag in terms of voices matching up with lips on the TV, but am trying to adjust this in the TV settings. Kind of annoying, but it's a minor inconvenience. I purchased this as an open box item and saved a chunk. You can't even tell it was ever even plugged in.

I have always liked jbl. This sound bar has worked awesome connected to my Samsung tv it Bluetooth’s easy and was very easy to set up

Sounds wonderful bass is Crazy I have this one in Bedroom and it made clear to me it sounds better with firestick

While this is no dedicated 5.1 system, it does a fantastic job of filling my bedroom with sound. I have this paired with a 50 in tv and audio is rich and bass is massive. Best part is that dialogue is clear even in the middle of sound effect filled scene. Really happy with this purchase.

Well this was my first sound bar with Subwoofer for my TV . I have a sub woofer for my stereo system and have listened to TV with my stereo in the past . I was surprised at how loud it is and the bass rumbles like you are in the scenes of movies . In some reviews people said they wish it was louder .I dont turn it up but halfway and its super loud . Clear voices and great highs in the front sound bar. Set up was super easy . I listen to music at dinner through this system and it sounds awesome . I have to say it has enhanced my new 75 inch Samsung TV more than I could ever have imagined . I highly recommend this system .You will not be disappointed

Pros : - The sound quality is really amazing. - Best part of this system is the subwoofer. Its ground shaking experience you should watch trailer for subwoofer experience : "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom".. Amazing theater experience. - Virtual sound is good you can hear form the left and right side like wide sound. - The build quality of the system is really premium look. It does not have the mesh and has some kind of metalic feeling. Feels like bose. - Sound is really crisp, loud and bass can shaking room Cons: - This is not actually cons but something that needs to keep in mind. - subwoofer will need a dedicated space. I mean its really big. It was bigger than my coffee table height wise. - subwoofer has only 3 levels to control low, mid. high. We live apartament its very easy to disturb the neighbors. Low setting og bass make sound bar flat and mid is good to have.. and High .. good luck :) - You will definitely will not get rear speaker sound feeling though this sound bar does really amazing sound in terms of surround sound. We are leaving in apartment were all apartement besides each other if your leaving is attached to the neighbors wall then good luck with this subwoofer. That is the reason I had to return its hard to control this system i nterms of subwoofer because of only 3 l3vel settings. If you leave in you own house where you neighbours are not attached to your house... go for it.. this the best one... it give shaking experience just like theater.. - One thing to notice that for virtual sound to work in best way its better to have walls surrounding to this sound bar, so that the sound can bounce surrounding and make surround sound feeling. For me I had one side wall and other side open because of dinning area so the setting was not that optimal for this sound bar. Overall this is the best speaker you will have if you have room and apartment setting accordingly as I mentioned above.. enjoy

Pretty good sound system for the money. Subwoofer works real well. I’m enjoying the product so far. The only complaint is when I turn the sound bar on it makes a loud noise indicating it’s working. But after that, I’m OK with how it works and the quality of sound.

Soundbar is great and very easy setup. A side note for those who need to connect a set of headphones due to hearing. Through a lot of research and trying several different connections due to no one being able to answer me on how to connect headphones . The only way I was able to get them to work for television viewing and streaming was to run soundbar with HDMI from TV then run an optical connection from your TV to a bluetooth receiver/transmitter. Connect and run your bluetooth headphones through the receiver/transmitter. Now I can hear TV and hubby can turn up his headphones. Hope I explained it correctly and hope it helps someone.

For the price range of this soundbar/subwoofer combo, i am blown away by the audio clarity and the low bass this is capable of. I had no doubts that i would enjoy this sounbar. Money well spent.
