This 5.1 JBL is much better especially in the sound bar. Very, very clear. The subwoofer housing is huge and puts out huge bass as well. Not quite as loud in the bass as I wanted but still more than adequate. Hookup to my 55 inch Samsung done through Bluetooth. A very responsible price for what you get.

Wish there was more adjustments to tweak settings. Sub is petty large but easy to hook up. Definitely nicer then my older unit just wish for my customization.

Many sound bars are expensive and don’t include a sub woofer box. This sound bar for the price includes sub woofer and it works really well. The audio is clear and the bass is strong with 5 levels of bass to choose from. I own two of these same exact systems. I was hesitant to break from my Bose loyalty to JBL and so far so good.

Great bar for large, open room
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I cannot say this is the best soundbar ever and I'm sure a lot of people will dismiss this because it doesn't have dolby atmos, etc. The reason I purchased this bar is because it was going in a very large, very open, very high ceiling (30ft) living room and I knew any of the "top firing" soundbars would be completely useless as the sound would have no ceiling or wall close enough to bounce off and provide a more premium (though simulated) surround sound experience. The JBL bar is great for what I need. It produces loud and clear dialogue and provides just enough front firing sound to give me some level of simulated surround sound that I can ask for given the room it's in. The woofer is also enormous so keep that in mind depending on your space. IF you can fit it, the woofer will really boom depending on where you set the bass level.
