It's a good system and nothing like JBL, and more than enough for my living room, but I might buy extra speakers in the future to spread in the room and have a big home theatre.

Replaced a Polk sound bar that was going bad, had JBL speakers before, excellent sound quality and made in USA

I love it. Sounds incredible over a non powered sub. Easy setup and blows away my old Samsung. I got a fantastic price as well.

This JBL soundbar replaced a lower-end Samsung soundbar that has always had trouble playing nice with the two different Samsung TVs it had been used with (but which otherwise sounded great). After three weeks of daily use, this JBL soundbar (just the soundbar with the subwoofer) continues to provide impressive 3D sound. Two issues keep me from giving this product a full 5 stars, however. First, I was unable to get my Samsung TV (just a year old) to recognize the JBL soundbar when I connected my TIVO Edge to the soundbar, then the soundbar to the TV ("pass-through"), which the soundbar is supposedly able to support. It could be a *thing* with TIVO, though, since TIVO seems to have a lot of *things*. Fortunately, the soundbar works well when I connect the TIVO to the TV directly and then connect the soundbar to the TV (via the HDMI ARC connection); all connections are via HDMI. The second issue is the wireless connection between the (TIVO) remote and the soundbar. Pairing was easy, but the soundbar definitely doesn't have the range or sensitivity of the previous, far cheaper Samsung soundbar in its connection to the remote, as the JBL unit requires discrete pushes of the volume button on the remote to change the volume, with the remote pointed directly and precisely at the soundbar. It's a small issue to be sure, but I expect a product to perform at least as well as one costing a third as much. Overall, though, this JBL soundbar works well with my Samsung TV and I am very happy with it. Even my (definitely) non-audiophile wife agrees that the sound is great.

I like the soundbar.. I’ve had it for about a month and it has started having some connectivity problems already. It will randomly turn on for some reason. The sound quality is good though!

My JB soundbar is exploding when it comes to sound.With a little volume ,my neighbors will complain of noise.Am really enjoying it

This is a pretty good sounding system for the money. It sounds good with movies or to just listen to music.

Love the sound and bass ability to change 5 levels… Bass subwoofer packs a punch so the option to change bass when is late at night to not wake the neighbors is a great feature. It also connects to airplay Thru Bluetooth allowing me to play from mobile devices on to TV and/or soundbar directly.

Great sound bar had the old version and never let us down just wanted a new set up for the basement.

Sound bar word wonders as intended. I didn’t expect much as a person who is around a lot of music and high end monitors and subs! The only thing I would say you’ll find yourself noticing is how loud the ratio of the music is compared to the dialogue in shows and movies! I believe this is something that can be changed and balanced to your preference within your tv

Very nice sound, only down side is that I can’t control the treble/mid sounds. The bass control works well. Overall I give the setup 4stars
