I laso got it on slae witch helps. The only thing that sucks is that it automatically turns on when tv turns on. I don't wanna always listen to Surround sound when watching tv. So i always have to have control near by to turn it off. Witch is hard beacuse its easy to lose .Also when you forget it startles because if you left it on loud in turns on on loud.

Posted .We're here to help with your JBL Bar 5.1. This type of behavior from your soundbar is normal when the CEC function is enabled on your TV. We suggest disabling the CEC function if you prefer to manually turn on or off the soundbar (it is necessary to contact your TV manufacturer for assistance).

This is the best investment for my buck and the hook up was easy. I was worried I would be missing a cable, or needed to go through maneuvers to install. But not the case at all. I did it all my myself... And I'm a woman

Vocals are really clear and never too low to hear. Treble is right where I like it, present but not piercing. The convience of Chromecast makes it so easy to play my favorite tunes from YouTube music straight from my phone. This is a powerful system and for the bass heads, it a dream come true. I’m now a big fan of JBL! I highly recommend this soundbar.

It has awesome Dolby audio, with an amazing subwoofer. The only one surprisingly unusual thing about this soundbar is its volume. To get the volume to an actual regular level, you have to set the sound level to 16 out of 32, or in other words 50%. When the volume is at level 10, it's much quieter than you would think for a soundbar this nice. I almost want to give it four stars because of this, but once you get the sound to a listening level, it is amazing! Definitely worth it!
