The soundbar is compact and does not draw attention to it. The subwoofer is nice to look at. Most importantly these work very well I am able to hear my TV without issue now.

I was hesitating between the 3.1 and the 2019 model which is the 5.1. I finally went with the 5.1 because of the Chromecast and AirPlay capability, and I have no regrets. The setup is easy and quick; the wireless sub connected without hesitation, Bluetooth setup was a breeze and in no time I was putting the system through its paces. I have it connected to my TV through the HDMI ARC input and it works perfectly; coming in and out of standby whenever the TV is turned off and on. It also connects through wifi and it is Google Assistant friendly. The sound is clear and powerful. I keep it on 'smart mode' as the sound fits my taste. The bass from the sub is powerful and so solid: never boomy. The bass has 3 setting: from low to high. Mid setting is good for most programs, however on high the bass is perfect for movies. The remote is overly simplistic but it does the job. After 2 weeks, I've been enjoying this soundbar and I'm very impressed with the performance.

Soundbar and subwoofer have great sound, volume and bass for the price. Gave mine 3 stars because I bought mine open-box in excellent condition, and the remote was missing when it arrived. Best Buy offered to do a return, but I didn’t want to go through the hassle. Unfortunately, JBL does not have the remote in stock and an aftermarket remote on Amazon is $40. Sellers have them used on eBay for $40 as well, Apparently, these remotes are a hot commodity.

Great set of speakers for my TV was on sale at Best Buy. They were easy to setup and sound fantastic!

Great improvement over the previous Polk soundbar. Dialog is crisp and clear, sound effects fill the room and the sub rattles the furniture!

Sound is full annd well rounded. Audio for TV and movie is clear. Sound bar is clean and modern. Bass speaker is a bit larger than expected.

Sound: Amazing. Bass thumps. Highs are clear. Surround sound prett good considering it's coming from a bar. Setup: can be a headache. App is garbage. Wifi radio constantly on. Setup menu on panel not intuitive. Deducting 1 star for this Value: Tremendous IF you can get it on sale.

I’m not a pro on audio but always enjoyed good speaker and subwoofers on my car. I got it on discount for $270 is a great deal. Just remember is a sound bar and don’t expect too much of it, as feature my only complaint will be that you can EQ the sound. Other than that I love it so far. Subwoofer been a 10’ is enought to feel those lower sound. The sound bar it self is okay, 10times better the tv speaker for sure. I also like that it turn off and on with the tv remote as well controlling the volume (samsung tv).

Nice system for the price i got it at. For basic conversion from tv to home theater. Not worth retail but if you find it on sale its a very nice upgrade for apts or living room where you dont necessarily want to shake the house, but want more than tv speakers. Much better than the $200 options out there.

We were really leary to buy another sound bar system as the previous experiences were not good. However, you get what you pay for!! We went with this combo pack and WE LOVE IT. Not only can you control between TV volume or bar. The bass box is AWESOME!! We love the effects it gives in action movies, scary movies, music shows n videos. BEST IMPULSE PURCHASE EVER!!

Sounds GREAT. Simple set up. This replaced an old Sony system and blows it out of the park. Would definitely buy again.

I went in to buy a cheaper priced item when the salesman came up to me and asked me if i needed help. I told him what i was looking for and he told me it was better to buy a brand that deals with sound rather than a brand that deals with TVs. So, ok, that made sense. He showed me this one, the JBL. I was sold. I spent more than i wanted but it was well worth the money and since it was sale, it made better sense. The sound is amazing and the bass on it it really nice, especially when you play music on it (sine it it Bluetooth equipped). I am not disappointed in my decision and my wife didn’t tell me anything either...:). Overall, awesome sound.

Awesome sound bar setup for the price. I got it for half off during Black Friday sale and will get another next year. JBL has stepped up their game as this is the 3rd product we’ve purchased in the last few years. If you’ve used their boombox or extreme speakers, you know it will meet or exceed your expectations compared to other options for the price.

Excellent, affordable speaker. The subwoofer is very loud. Shakes the whole house.
