I would compare it to a $20 blue tooth speaker. It's that bad. We are returning it. It's as if the sound is only coming out from a tiny hole in the speaker. The subwoofer might as well not be included, as you can't tell it's there. No base at all. The sound from this soundbar actually "hurt" my ears as it was very high-pitched. The remote is terrible as well. You have to point it directly at the unit as it's not infrared. I'm unsure if you can get this to work on a universal remote, as I haven't looked into it since we are returning but keep that in mind. If you still want to purchase this terrible-sounding unit, you may be stuck with having a separate remote for changing the channel and changing the volume.

Not Really An Upgrade

My thinking was louder with more wattage but I felt the 3.1 put out a louder and fuller sound. Never had to max out the volume on the 2.1 or 3.1. Also, liked the sound options that the 5.1 doesn’t offer.
