I have always been a JBL fan….I am also a firm believer that you get what you pay for, so I was well aware of the cost of the JBL Boombox 2 price. It does all of what it is suppose to and than some. Be aware that this speaker is part of the Party boost series and will not connect to the Connect + series units. That’s my only complaint because I do own some of those units…. Hope this helps ..??

I had my doubts about this speaker but it is actually very powerful without distortion. Much better than what I thought. Is not as heavy as it looks. Perfect for my deck TV or just to connect to my phone while grilling / partying in my backyard. I would definitely recommend it. Definitely worth the money.

I wasn't aware that the boombox packaging was going to be huge! I love how we could now do curbside pickup. Life changing especially during this pandemic that has ensued. Overall, customer service was great! Boombox in my opinion is AWESOME! Real loud which I love.

I have received numerous complements on the sound of this speaker. Loud and clear sound with great bass for a portable speaker. Battery only last 7hrs of active play which was still great but not the 24hr battery time listed on packaging.

Very good speaker although I have the original boom box and dosen't sound as loud but still an amazing speaker and this version does sound cleaner than the original version I definitely recommend if you're interested in a good speaker

Great sound and quality... well worth the money spent. I thought that it would not sound like other comparable speakers of the same size. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a speaker just to have in their room or for a relaxing time on your deck.

In terms of comparing II to its predecessor it isn’t a major improvement. I will say I there are some let downs. For one I have found that the the battery life while playing at 50-80 percent is significantly less than the Boombox one. And the other issue I have is that the indoor and outdoor modes have been removed. As for the sound quality there is an improvement but nothing overly major. All in all it’s good kit not worth the extra 100

Wow this thing is amazing. The sound is extremely clean and crisp even at low volume. Sounds better outdoors, sounds like a much much larger system. I’m picking up another !

I was a bit optimistic when I purchased this boom box and I hooked it up when I got home and I was amazed at the sound this thing has! It’s awesome and it is a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for with this one!

Sound at its best. Never enjoyed bass boost from a small gagdet as it. Good sound engineering.

I love the sound that comes from this speaker, also the water resistance makes it great to be out on the boat.

I love this speaker. I only took away 1 star because I wish you could control the bass and treble separately. I originally had the JBL extreme but it didn’t have the bass I wanted. I debated on buying 2 extremes or the boom box 2. I’m glad I brought the BB2. I don’t think 2 extremes would give you the amount of bass as the BB2. It’s enough to rattle your walls.

I use this speaker 8-10 hours a day when I paddleboard. The bass really makes the board vibrate. The sound really travels with the water and amplifies the experience. It also works as a floatation device whenever you need to rescue someone in the water.
