Q: what are the differences or upgrades between the jbl boombox 1 and 2.
A: I own both. Boombox 2 has deeper fuller bass then the original, especially at lower volumes. It weighs a pound heavier then the original with a smaller battery (Same capacity as original) meaning they’ve upgraded elsewhere (drivers). The sound signature has also been improved.
Q: Can the boom box be synced to the charge 4?
A: Our JBL Boombox 2 has the latest connectivity feature called Partyboost. Other speakers that you may connect with it are JBL Flip 5 and JBL Pulse 4. Since our JBL Charge 4 has the connect plus feature, we won't be able to pair them with JBL Boombox 2.
Q: will this pair with my two PartyBox 310's at the same time
A: Our JBL Boombox 2 can't be connected with the Partybox 310 because these two speakers have different technologies that are incompatible with one another. Our JBL Boombox 2 has the PartyBoost function where it can only connect to JBL Flip 5, Pulse 4, and Xtreme 3 or any JBL speakers that has the Partyboost function.
Q: Hi I bought two jbl boombox 2 an I would like to know how i can check the firmware on them?
A: Software updates for your speaker can be done using the JBL Portable app. Download it from the Apple App store and Google Play store. If there is an available update, look for the small red dot above the gear icon and follow the download instructions
Q: Can We connect on Bluetooth 2 or 3 speaker together to make better sounds
A: Our JBL Boombox 2 has the Partyboost feature where you can link multiple Partyboost-compatible speakers to pump up the place. You can link together your Boombox 2 with Flip 5 & Pulse 4. To utilize this feature, you just need to press the Partyboost button on your 1st speaker and press the Partyboost button on the nearby Partyboost compatible speakers.
Q: How many watts is the jbL extreme 2. It lists for around 250.00 to 300.00. Thank you.
A: Our JBL Boombox has a total output power of 2x40 W RMS (AC mode) 2x30W RMS (battery mode).
Q: How to turn on low frequency mode when you have a version 4.4 ?
A: There's no such thing as “low frequency mode”. That mode you're using is a debug mode made for JBL to diagnose any issues with it. Listening to music with debug mode active can potentially cause damage.
Q: What other jbl speakers can I connect with at the same time..
A: Our Boombox 2 has the Partyboost feature and this can connect with other devices with the same feature like the JBL Flip 5,Pulse 4 and other Boombox 2's.
