[Employee of bestbuy] I was looking for something to play my music outside in the backyard. I have experience with JBL products and this item did not disappoint, It connected seamlessly to my phone via Bluetooth; the app was easy to download, setup and connect, and it has some nice features. And the sound is just what I needed. It is sterophile quality? No, but bang for your buck, this was a good purchase. Loud enough, good sound, and did what I wanted it to do. Helps that it's very portable, holds a decent charge, and charges fairly quickly. The shoulder strap is nice for carrying it around as well.

Happend to get lucky and snag this up. I am very familiar with JBL products so I was expecting high standards for this. This is my first Boombox but I have used the Party box line. I needed something a little more portable. This checks all my boxes for something portable. Its waterproof, sounds pretty darn good for its footprint compard to others in this area. UE boombox sounds good, but doesnt get as loud or bassy. I wnated something loud enough for work, something over 80db in and this just hits 100. Itll sure get you some noise complaints if you blast it outside. Battery life gets cut drastically in full blast but i use it plugged it and it even makes it louder. Your mileage may very. Is it worth the price? Debatable, but it sure sounds good for that price.

I bought this speaker after my UE hyperbole stopped working after about 2 years. On this speaker the Bass and quality sounds good and speaker battery seems to last forever, this is a hefty speaker that feels built solid. I am definitely happy with my purchase

bass, voice and treble in excellent harmony, your 8-hour party will be covered without problem, but if it extends to more hours, just connect it and while it charges you can enjoy your favorite music, so I recommend it 100%.

Great speaker. I decided to go with this as it's one of the few JBL's that is native stereo. Most other JBLs (including the partybox) require another speaker to get stereo. Range is great and it has long charge. I use it as a BT speaker but also AUX for the record player.

Jbl is the best portable speaker and the battery last longer

I have the next version smaller down than this one and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of sound and volume. I purchased this one for outdoor gatherings and it did not disappoint. Extremely Loud and Clear. A little pricey but it was worth it.

I decided to buy this JBL speaker because they have excellent sound, and the Boombox 3 has everything I need. It's portable, so I can take it everywhere and listen to my favorite music with the best JBL sound.

This speaker is not for the weak. Base is really hard !! Please use EQ in the app . My first use was half court basketball gym . It was perfect by itself. Battery life is what they say ,its great I can't imagine 2 of these things together. It delivers the bass you can't hear from other speakers. The only thing .get the shoulder strap. This thing gets heavy.. love it..

Excellent sound, battery is excellent last a long time

Great device. Costly but battery life and sound are what I was looking for. Tried a couple different speakers before I just gave in and pulled the trigger on this one. Hasn't disappointed me yet. It is on the heavy side but would recommend as the last speaker you will need to buy.

Never had a JBL before but i turned out to be every thing I expected and more. Love that it's big but not to big that you can take anywhere and it not take up to much space. Sound quality is perfect!

Every time I turn this speaker on, I'm very pleased that i bought it. The sound is very clean and does not get distorted at high volumes. The bass is great but i do wish it had a little bit more. I can play music for hours even at full volume. What makes it's even greater is that I also got it on sale $100 off. Can't go wrong with this speaker 10/10
