Bought one as a gift and decided I needed one as well. Sound Quality is on point, can turn it towards a wall to bounce the acoustics off of as well. Easy Bluetooth connect and one fast charge lasts a long time. I really liked the orange charging cord, too bad I smashed it in my car door.

Love this speaker. The sole reason I went for this was for it to be water resistant and long lasting. JBL has done a great job with the sound quality. Every song of every genre is crystal clear, it is bass heavy. It goes small but gives a great punch in the audio.

I have a lot of trial-and-error when it comes to finding A righteous set a Bluetooth portable speakers. The JBL Flip 4's sound great when they're paired they even sound good by themselves but it's night and day difference when they're paired as L & R Speakers while you use the JBL mobile connect/pairing app but the downside is I don't think there's a laptop app out yet /maybe I'm wrong but they sound loud and clear nevertheless and they have great battery life; not to forget theyre waterproof so when you're lake party gets rowdy crazy like festive lake parties should get, the speaker is hardy and water resistant. No danger of constant worry when getting off kilter and floating on your tube on July 4th and your speaker floats by u while playing your favorite. Song. Your speaker is not trashed he floats. But by far the highest quality sounding speaker with great bass great mids great highs stick great Fidelity is the Onyx 4 Harmon kardon speaker. Do not pay more than 130 on a new speaker Because if you actually walk into a Best Buy store they will have them at full list retail over $400. Wait for a sale on both JBL and Harmon Kardon onyx4. Pay no more than 80 for flip 4 and I bought the 2nd one for 60 and overpaid for the 1st one at 90. My next buy will be a second Onyx 4. Fyi the HK pairing app sucks but the speaker Rocks. Almost unbelievable for just one. I cant wait to pair w another. Dont forget Onyx 4 ISNT the get close or around water setup. They arent water resistant so take the JBLs dont waste money on a jbl extreme when for under half you can pair two flip 4's or Charge 3's whichever/ tomato tomata. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality and volume level (without significant distortion) of this tubular shaped device. It plays well when connected by either Bluetooth or mini plug. Charging time is quick and battery life is excellent. It was purchased because of it's waterproof rating and has played perfectly after being exposed to rain downpours. It has never been submerged in water, so I can't attest to whether or not it would still be operable. A big "thumbs up" on this compact speaker!

I bought it for an overseas trip since it’s small enough to put In carry on luggage. I brought it to a Christmas gathering recently and it works perfectly. Not too expensive and the sound it great especially when you’re not trying to blast your neighbors away. Ha! And it was easy to operate. I’m not technically inclined so I appreciate the simplicity. I also love the easy battery charger. I have a different speaker and it needs an outlet to recharge. This lets me hook it up to any phone charger including my cordless one. The sales guy did a good job recommending this one. Thanks.

This speaker sounds great and work well with bluetooth. The size is perfect for any place you want to listen to music. it is easy to connect to smartphones or tablets. The battery supports 12 hours of playing time. It is waterproof so you don't need to wory about it getting wet.

Searched for a wireless speaker for my son. Was looking at another brand when store associate came over to see if I needed help. He suggested I check out the JBL line and then demonstrated the different models. This one sounded great, had excellent sound even at high volume ( no distortion), was loud enough to entertain but not so loud that my son would be hosting parties at college, is waterproof, and holds charge for a long time. Very impressed, and my son thinks it’s great too.

I needed a speaker since my old dinosaur ones finally gave out and was looking for something loud and easy to carry. The sound is amazing and clear , and it's super easy to connect with blue tooth. a plus is that it is waterproof so perfect for pool parties, rivers beach ect.. although I suggest a bigger one if you will be putting it in water. Battery life is honestly really good can't complain ! Great speaker great sound cool colors to choose from. I am definitely going to buy another since my sister likes it so much she took it

Bought two speakers, one for each of my kids. Sound great alone and you can sync together two speakers at a time for great stereo sound. Great bass for such a small speaker. Very loud too Love these speakers. Highly recommended.

I recently purchased this for my teenage daughter as she needed a portable speaker that she could take on trips with her - it had to be small enough to stick into a backpack, waterproof to withstand splashes by the pool and deliver a powerful sound. I have purchased numerous other more expensive portable speakers in the past (Bose, Pioneer, others) but after hearing my daughter use it, I must say that I am going to buy another one for my own use! Small size, big sound for certain!

I received this as a gift and am impressed with the sound and ease of use. It has a much better sound and base than another Bluetooth speaker we have. Great that it’s waterproof, we can use it around the pool!

This is by far the best WiFi Speaker to date for myself! Easy to use, a few buttons to use, charges fast, charge lasts long, and this model is not too big and not too small! Perfect for my use!

I like the color, durability and construction of it. It is also pretty loud for how small it is. I use it at work everyday for a minimum of 10 hours a day and on a single charge it last me about 5hrs when I play it at Max volume......but when I play it half volume then it tends to last me about 8hrs sometimes longer. I've have it in the rain and it works great still. I also use it when making phone calls and it works great.

I needed a water proof speaker and did a lot of online research.The JBL flip 4 seemed to be what I was looking for. It has great sound and durability. Small compact and very expandable. I am actually purchasing another shortly because you can link them together and get bigger sound. The other great features are 2 phones can be linked at the same time. My other brand that was twice as much and can't do that or is it water proof!! Great item.

Everyone's opinion and hearing are different. There are thousands of bluetooth speakers out there. With that being said this is no question the best speaker you can buy for the price. Forget all the gimmicked out ones with the lights, forget the ones with the "360 sound" Anything you thought, just forget it. This JBL flip 4 is the top speaker you can buy in my opinion for this price range. The flip 5 felt different to me, it was a mono speaker with no aux jack or mic. It did have 4 extra watts of power but it wasnt for me. I feel the stereo flip 4 is the way to go. (But again everyone's opinion is different) Highs, mids, and lows are perfectly balanced. Bass def kicks so don't worry about bumping your tunes, that will not be a issue. The one thing that stands out is the quality of sound it puts out. I don't want to put any other companies down but you can tell JBL put some serious research and time into these devices. I only recommend you have a decent bluetooth device. My phone is junk and the quality reflected on the speaker. My computers bluetooth is brand new and that made a huge difference as the sound is crystal clear. This speaker is the way to go. Grab it before its too late.

I went back and forth trying to decide which portable speaker to purchase. I was looking for something waterproof that would work well outdoors. Product appears to have a long lasting battery life. Sound is clear and gets quite loud. I wish it was lighter as I would like to travel with it and have it not be so heavy and such an irregular shape.
