Love this little speaker. Delivers great sound in a compact design. Easy to travel with. love that it's water resistant. I like the color too because it makes it easy to spot (or hard to lose) especially when camping or going to the beach. Quick to pair with my devices, decent battery life. This is not our first JBL product and I'm sure it won't be our last

It takes about 2 hours to charge, and the battery lasts about 2 and a half hours at full volume. Cant charge while playing music .

This speaker gets very loud. I like that it's compact and I can wrap my hand around it when I carry it around outside. It has a wrist loop so you don't drop it. The bluetooth range is awesome. I was very surprised with the audio quality coming out of this speaker. When turned up to around 75% it sounds like a much bigger speaker and can fill a very large room with good audio. It looks good with the newly designed logo. The ends have a rubber coating so it protects the speaker if you bump it against something, and so it won't scratch paint from a wall as easily. Battery lasts all day for me at 40% volume and is loud enough.

Battery life, sound, and mobility are great! I haven’t tested the waterproof ability yet but I have no doubt it’ll survive. Very high quality and the connectivity is seemless with my phone. Great purchase.

I got this to replace a Flip 4 that I had for about 5 years. The newer version seems to be just as durable and has held up with regular use in moist environments, including steamy showers and outdoor projects around the house. It's survived a few inadvertent drops and still works just fine. It's not an amazing sounding speaker, but it does sound great for the price, size, and focus on durability. I don't track how frequently this gets charged, but I don't think I've charged it more than three times in a year and I always let the battery drain all the way down.

I love this little speaker. It has a great battery life, with huge volume if you need it and great quality sound if you don't. You get full low-freq extension without really sacrificing elsewhere. Super portable. The fact that it's waterproof is icing on the cake. I'd happily buy this for any of my friends or family.

Comparing Bose, Soundcore, and WonderEars, this one is the keeper. Each of these have their strong points, but with JBL’s design and quality, it is the keeper. The clarity, battery life, sound quality and durability are all fantastic. I’m no producer, so the easy to use equalizer in the app is appreciated. I don’t need to hear this across a football field, so the volume is more than enough for me, WonderEars will be the choice for that. The clarity is what I was looking for, not bass, so if you want bass, JBL definitely has enough in my opinion, I actually turned it down. Bose to me just sounds warm and muffled, too bassy, in comparison, JBL has punchy bass like what you would hear in a car with quality speakers. So you have all the clear highs and mids, and bass when you actually need it. I always wondered why JBL has such a following with their bt speakers, and now I understand why! Get one and see for yourself.

Great speaker for the bike and beach. Fits our water vottle cup hilders on all our bikes and has plenty of sound for the whole group to hear on the ride. Better sound and battery then the comparable sony and bose speakers.

This is the perfect speaker for portable use, it’s smaller than its larger siblings like the charge 5, yet it still manages to put out an impressive amount of sound. Can easily fill up a room with full sound, acceptable for ambience and gatherings but not quite large enough for parties. It’s great for use in the shower (waterproof), and especially in the summer anywhere along the beach, on bike rides, or to just have it walking around with your friends. Also I feel like this thing just never ever runs out of battery. Sound quality is as good as you can get for a speaker of these dimensions. The bass is super powerful from the dual exhaust ports on either side, just make sure the speaker is pointed the right way since it only outputs from the front, and not 360 degrees akin to the speakers shape. Got it open box for $90 over a year ago and to this day it’s genuinely worth every penny, cliche as it sounds.

Hands down the best portable speaker I've ever owned!!! The sound is amazingly clear and the body is quite resilient! The volume is outstanding! It's also waterproof. The battery lasting forever! I use it once a week for work for about 30 minutes and the charge lasted 3 months, this is including occasional using it at home here and there!

Omg!! This is a great addition. I shopped around and read reviews and decided on this one. So glad that I did. The 6 is the same sound quality as the previous ones but this has more options. The sound quality and volume that it can reach is awesome. With this one you can download the app and then adjust the bass and treble to your liking. The drawback on it is that you have to reset the app periodically to your preferred settings. It doesn’t save your preferences that I can find on the app. Years back I had a JBL portable speaker and had to replace it due to technology out dating it. It wasn’t that I wasn’t happy with the replacement brand, it just quit working after years of use. The fact that this is waterproof and dust proof is a great bonus. You can also add additional units that pair up with it. Huge bonus!!! I’ll be purchasing additional ones in the future. I’m really glad that this unit has all that I needed for the price that I paid.
