I got these for my husband, he loves them! Great for the gym and jogging!

Over the past year, I have tested a good number of headphones, from Bose to Sony to Jabra to these JBLs. By far, I am the most disappointed in these of any headphones I have owned or tested for a variety of reasons. CONS: First for me is the fit. I have trouble getting these to stay in my ears, not just when active, but even just working at my desk. I started with the medium ear silicones and tried going up to the large, which then wouldn't fit in my ear canals. Back to the medium, the only way to even get them to start is to shove them way into my ears, creating some suction, but that eventually goes away & they come loose again. The lack of a good tight fit, in addition to allowing them to fall out or displace, causes a lot of ambient noise to come in, which drowns out the sound of the headphones. I've gotten spoiled to active noise cancelling headphones, and the amount of outside noise was a deal breaker for me. Next issue for me was the sound quality. The highs (treble) were good, and the volume more than adequate, but the buds seem to be lacking good bass response, which you need to round out good sound. Add the poor fit, and any bass that is present escapes and you're left with headphones that sound very "tinny". And finally comes the disconnect issues. Others have complained heavily about this, and it is indeed an issue. The left ear bud, which derives its signal from the right bud (the right bud pairs with your phone), frequently disconnected, sometimes only for a second or 2, but any drop out is not acceptable. Not sure where the issue lies, and why JBL hasn't done anything to update the headphones unless its an actual hardware issue, but it is a major issue when you're paying what you're paying for the buds you shouldn't have to contend with dropouts of signal at random times. PROS: I do like the case that the headphones come with. It's a bit larger than a hockey puck, and allows the headphones to be recharged in the case. Headphones last a little under 4 hours, and JBL advertises you can get 5 recharges from one case charge. The headphones "snap" into place with a magnet inside the case, so you know you have the right placement for charging. OVERALL: I found myself greatly disappointed in the headphones, and would recommend investing in something with a little better quality if you're looking for so-called "truly wireless" headbuds.

The product cost jus as much as Bose but doesn't produce the same quality...after buying less then a month ago it doesn't charge anymore

Sound quality. Very disappointing. Very small and uncomfortable. Charge time decent. Easy to Bluetooth. Jus didn’t like sound quality.

These earbuds connect easily and the instructions are easy to understand. I like the charging case and the buds fit very nicely in your ear. That being said, they produce low quality sound. There is very little response at low frequencies. They work slightly better in the mid to high range, but produce a slightly tinny sound. They are not horrible by any means, but if you are expecting typical JBL sound don't purchase these, you'll be disappointed. Volume capability is low, so if you like your music full and loud, they are a poor choice. I'll be returning them for either the Jabra's or the Bose earbuds.

The JBL Free wireless headphones are simply not worth the money or hassle. What comes in a promising package from a normally high-quality brand is a complete disappointment. The headphones are a nice size, have an array of ear tips to accommodate all ear shapes and sizes, and look good. The charging case is a nice touch as well, albeit a bit large to have to carry along. But headphones are meant to deliver quality, reliable sound...and this pair of headphones does neither. The sound quality is sub-bar at best. Volume, bass, and tone are all issues. Almost everything comes through sounding "tinny." Not to mention the connectivity issues with the left ear piece. It constantly cuts in and out, making it almost unbearable to listen to anything (as it is intended to play stereo sound). When the left earpiece does work, it is full of static noises. Very frustrating that headphones can't do the one thing they are meant to do well. I did not even use the microphone function on any phone calls to test that out, as it seemed pointless, and I cannot speak to battery life. But even from the literature included with the product, it does not seem to be very long. Unfortunately these headphones will be going in the trash where they belong.

Sound is not as great and they disconnect quickly with wifi. They don't last long charge
