They sound okay. Highs can be piercing. I wish there had been a way to install these in my factory tweeter location, but tech said it was not possible.

Doesn't handle low frequency and causes your speakers to pop at a low volume.

The JBL didn't work out for my vehicle, but Anthony Vick saved the day. He looked throughout the store and gave us opinions so we were able to keep our install appointment after waiting 2 months for installation. Thanks Anthony, you can be in my military any day! you are "Great"

Was not happy with this do not like the quality for the Care customer care that I had they're really rude and I recommend never buy this

Really disappointing. Slightly clearer sound than factory but it hardly improved the situation - no base, sounds far away or like there’s very little sound coming out of it

I first bought a set of Hertz component speakers and they were horrible with the tweeters being so bright I could not listen to them. Then I tired a set of Alpine component speakers and they just plain sounded terrible. Then I thought gee maybe I need to spend more and so I bought a set of Rockford Fosgate and they sounded the worst of all of them. I then wnt to Best Buy and found these and thought I would give them a try. AMAZING SOUND. Unbelievable, highs sound so clear and crisp and with lows so low I don't need a subwoofer. I will say I used insulation foam in the door. Door already have dynamat type material on it. I cannot believe how good they sound and I later found out that these are not sold anywhere else. THANK YOU BEST BUY and thank you JBL for an amazing set of speakers that have got to sound as good or better than a set costing 5x's or more as much. I tested these listening to youtube FLAC music. My ears could not believe how such a mediocre looking speaker could sound so good. I teamed them up with an Alpine 50 @4ohm amplifier but even without the amp they still sounded so good.

One of them already blew and I didn’t even have the volume 3/4. It was about 200$ worth just to be blown within the next month.

Tweaters blew out immediately and I couldn’t get a return unless I bring the entire speakers out when they are already in my car

No recommend it  not very good quality sound, and there is a vibration 

Not stoked on the install speakers rattle more than they used to. For $1200 I figured it would sound better

These are really good speakers nice and loud!! You should get the component and coaxial speakers for this... Put the components in the front door speakers, coaxial in the back doors. If you want these speakers to really come alive you need to upgrade your factory stereo (if you haven't already) to something more powerful so they pack a punch. I recommend any Pioneer brand stereo.. If you want go up a step I recommend a JBL amplifier as well! Do these simple things and the sound will greatly improve! I think the people who complain about these speakers don't follow those main rules to improve the sound! Hope this helps someone!

Very nice speaker set i love the way it fits my chevy truck doors

I have these in the front and two Kenwood Eclipse 6x9 in the rear. The tweeters sound great but wasn't "wowed" by the woofer. Hooked up to a tuned 4 channel amp. Only question I have is when I measured the resistance of the woofer it read 4ohms and the tweeters read 2ohms. Was considering bridging them to 2ohm amp but the specs say there are already 2ohms even tho they measured 4ohms. Weird.

I already did the survey but I will say it again. I have not yet open this because it is for my sons Christmas present. It did arrive quickly on time in the box appears to be what I ordered. I was very unhappy that there were no discounts or coupons available even though I found one that said it was 20% off and they would not except it. It was actually $50 more than the advertised price that I saw in a flyer that I got. Again I didn’t know anything about it or how to get another item that was similar so I bought it because that is what my son wanted me to get for him . But I am very unhappy with Best Buy customer service. I probably will not shop there in the future. I did actually call customer service and they did not help me either. It ended up being $210 plus delivery and the coupon actually the flyer add Sheridan at 1:49. Not happy

Speakers are a upgrade from stock but think would soynd even better with aftermarket radio or amp hooked up to them. Still for the money are worth a buy.

[Jeep Wrangler 2008 Unlimited] First installed the front main speaker without the tweeter to see how much improvement would be made and I was disappointed. Stock speaker was noticeably louder and clearer. (*and yes the wires were connected correctly) Putting the package back together, getting a refund and going to purchase the kicker version.* We installed the kicker version into the rollbar and 100% noticed a clear/crisp difference. Went with JBL because it was an open-box special

I neither recommend or dont recommend these. All I can say is that these are not noticably better than the stock speakers I had in the first place.
