Turn up the volume and hit the road with this pair of JBL two-way car speakers. They have a frequency response of 50Hz - 21kHz to remove distortion and a computer-optimized network to move from mid-woofer to the midrange speaker and tweeter. These JBL two-way car speakers use a lightweight 6.5-inch polypropylene woofer cone to deliver sharp sounds.

A: The preamps you see are just separating the highs to send to the tweeters and sending the mids and lows to the main speaker. Keep your amp.
A: It comes as a complete set. 2 mid bass, 2 crossover, and 2 tweeters! No further purchase is necessary.
A: Great speakers for the money. You will probably be ok with the current setup: the speaker are rated with an impedance of less than 3 ohms; which means that they require very little power to produce decent sound.
Q: What’s the ohm button for on the crossovers shows 0 and 3.something
A: +3dB makes the tweeter louder than 0dB
A: Not ok. component speakers are meant to be set up no more than 12 inches apart, otherwise the separation will be too much and they will sound echoed
A: Most every car I have ever been in has the entertainment system focused on the driver. The sound reverberates throughout the remainder of the car. However, it is usually a good idea to replace them all if you are looking to upgrade so that sound is more clear and even all around. Just be mindful of the impedance rating, output, and also input as to avoid distortion, poor sound quality. And most of all, blowing the speakers due to poor judgement on trying to save money like I did, recently.
A: It does not come with an amp (I thought it did too). What you see are crossovers, meant to split your HIghs from Mid and Lows; the tweeters will play hights and other speakers will play mid and lows.
Q: Do they fit my Toyota Corolla 2014? Also, the original tweeters need to be removed?
A: Original tweeters can be replaced by these or these can be added to a new location.
