“I'm installing the woofer in the back and the tweeters up front of my car. My receiver has separate connectors for front,back,left,right. I planned to connect both front and back from each side to the input on the crossover. Is that OK?”

Not ok. component speakers are meant to be set up no more than 12 inches apart, otherwise the separation will be too much and they will sound echoed
