Most every car I have ever been in has the entertainment system focused on the driver. The sound reverberates throughout the remainder of the car. However, it is usually a good idea to replace them all if you are looking to upgrade so that sound is more clear and even all around. Just be mindful of the impedance rating, output, and also input as to avoid distortion, poor sound quality. And most of all, blowing the speakers due to poor judgement on trying to save money like I did, recently.
