Posted .Sorry to hear if you were not satisfied with our product. While sitting in your normal listening position, have someone switch the phase switch back and forth while audio is playing. Whichever position gives you more perceived bass, this is the setting you want to use as this is the position in which the soundbar and sub are in phase with each other when they both reach your ears.
If you are unable to notice a different between the two positions, leave the switch at 0, and you'll be good to go.

Feedback Noise and HDMI Issue
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the first one I got had feedback noise, like a thud sound over and over, then I took it back and the second one did the same thing. Also the HDMI would not work with my new Samsung TV. Not the best

Not Happy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.1 Star review, but mostly my fault for not taking it back. No remote. Subwoofer doesn't work, and Soundbar turns off sporadically. The sound is decent when it's working though.

Disconnects often
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great speakers but poor connection issues brings this down to 1 star. Disconnects often, does not play sound and had to reboot to make it work.

Posted .The SB350 has an auto on/off feature based on audio signal which can not be disabled. When it sees an audio signal present, the SB turns on, and when it no longer sees an audio signal it turns off. If you are using the analog aux line input to connect your TV to your SB, it is possible that you are not sending enough audio to the SB for it to stay on. There are a few ways to handle this, in order of preference.
1. If your TV has a digital audio output, optical cable use this feature, it will give you the best sonic results and will stop this from happening.
2. If it doesn't have a digital output, continue using the analog output, but go into your TV's setup menu and turn off the internal speakers, and set the audio output to FIXED, if possible
3. If this is not possible, and the TV's audio output is effected by the volume control on the TV, turn the volume on the SB down a bit, and turn the volume on the TV up, to compensate. This will increase the signal being sent to the SB, telling it to stay on.

Great Sound & Easy Install
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item after seeing in store and without seeing reviews. It was easy to setup with existing older flat panel using supplied optical cable (also came with HDMI cable). Subwoofer paired instantly and existing Directv remote synched with absolutely no problem. My only fault if I had to pick one would be that I wish the soundbar had just a little more bass, but that's being really picky because the sound is great. I bought on sale for $249.

A Weird Sound Bar
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After a disappointing experience with the Samsung HW 3550, I spent a bit more money, and on the recommendation of a Best Buy Geek Squad installer, I got the JBL CINEMASB350. While the installer was right, the JBL sounded better than the Samsung, there were other issues that left me frustrated and disillusioned. 1. The Directions - The directions were minimal, at best. They came on a piece of paper the size of a postage stamp and were printed with the same size font that is used to describe the details of your credit card agreement. 2. No Display - There is no indication that anything you are doing with the remote is actually working, and you can't tell where any settings were the last time you used the unit. You are constantly guessing. This is kinda crazy. 3. The Sub - Was a bit more challenging to link up than it should have been. (Other reviews report the same issue) To describe the directions as "vague" is being generous. To make matters worse, the sub started making an uninitiated, intermittent "thump" sound that had nothing to do with the program coming through the system. Odd. 4. Remote - This is the Rode Island of remotes. Seriously, it is slightly larger than a standard domino and I was in constant fear of loosing it. You can just imagine what it was like to trying to read the print on this hobbit-sized device. 5. The unit started shutting itself off. It might have something to do with listening at very low volume levels...perhaps the thing "times out" and shuts down. At this point, I had made up my mind that it was going back and couldn't care less what was going on with this thing. I was over it. Too many cons. Returned it. Ended up with the Sony HTCT780. If you'd like to get the full story of my sound bar evolution, see my reviews for the Sony and the Samsung HW J550.

Great sound quality but has it's problems
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item while on sale so am satisfied with the value. I don't believe the value is there however if having to pay full price. In the store the sound quality sounded phenomenal compared to the other soundbars at the similar sale price point. When I got the product home the soundbar was up and running within 5 minutes. The subwoofer however was not hooked up with the same ease. I went through the sequencing that was provided in the lacking installation instructions and wasn't able to successfully pair the sub to the soundbar until reading a review online. The issue is the light on the back of the soundbar will blink and lead you to believe that it is searching for a device to connect to but is not actually searching until the light is blinking RAPIDLY. Once I pushed the button on the back of the speaker hard enough for the soundbar to enter search mode it was able to pick up the subwoofer right away and connect. I would not recommend putting the sub near where you will be sitting because it will randomly make a popping noise as if it loses connection for a split second. I am still unsure what the phase switch on the back of the sub does because the owners' manual does not address this. My overall stance on the product is that the soundbar is good and the subwoofer is below average. I purchased this product for $150 less than the retail price so I would buy it again for that amount but I think there are better products available if not on sale.

Blue tooth does not connect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I didn't have this at home for 24 hours and brought it back to the store. The Amazon reviews show almost 30% of reviews at 1 star. The problem is the blue tooth sub woofer does not connect after numerous tries. In fact I tried about 12 x and finally gave up, as I wasn't about to put any more time into the project. It should be seamless. Reading the Amazon reviews it appears that JBL knows this problem exists, has not addressed it. Also the instructions that come with the sound bar are pitiful. It is a file card size of folded glossy paper printed in the smallest font known to mankind. I suggest if you don't want the headache of standing in the return line you purchase another brand.
