Q: Why does the wireless subwoofer keep dropping off?
A: You may not be doing anything wrong. I returned mine because of the pairing problems...............................

A: Yes, the soundbar can be mounted under a TV.

Q: Do I need to buy optical cable and HDMI cable or is it included in the box?
A: You don't need to buy, it's included in the box.
A: The sub should not be in any way effected by the input used. This may have something to do with the audio mode setting on your source. For example, if you have your TV connected to the SB, and have it set to send DTS to the SB, the SB will get confused and will not function properly. Set the audio output on your source to Stereo or Dolby Digital, to get the best results.
