Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the sound quality, which they say is as expected from JBL. They also appreciate the easy setup and the inclusion of Bluetooth connectivity. The bass is also praised for enhancing the movie-watching experience. However, some customers have expressed dissatisfaction with the tiny remote control and the lack of a display on the soundbar. There are also a few concerns about durability, with some customers reporting issues after a few months of use.

    Voices are drowned out

Bought this system cause it sounded good in the store, but it wouldn't control volume (kept getting louder without even touching the controller). The voices were drowned out with the background noise and music. Took it back and bought the Polk SB1 system that was on sale. OMG, what a difference. This is the best system as far as I'm concerned. bass is strong and controllable and the voices are crisp and clear, and also controllable. Highly recommend not wasting your time on this JBL, and go with the Polk.

    Incredible

Unlike some other sound bars I listened to this one has the most balance sound mix for movies. I put this in the bedroom for simplicity and it's absolutely perfect. I did like the bigger sub in the SB400 but for the money this is great. Definitely recommend spending the extra money vs an entry level sound bar.

    Soundboard good, but

We were looking for an affordable option with Bluetooth and the best sound we could find. We chose this unit because the JBL has the clearest sound ... No comparison in the price range. BUT, we've had issues with the subwoofer...it is very weak and frequently drops connection. We generally have to get up and rest our hand on he unit to see if it is working at all, and it is only about 30pct of the time. We've only had ours a week...might be a defect. Had to call JBL twice to get help reestablishing Bluetooth connection between the sound bar and subwoofer. I'm also not thrilled with the jump in volume settings..without the soundbar, the TV's increments are much more discrete, but using the soundbar the increment jumps from can't hear dialog to keeping folks upstairs trying to sleep awake. ... Btw, JBL support was very easy to connect to and work with!

    Sounds good but poor quality

I should have known this product would be nothing but trouble when I got home, hooked the soundbar up to my TV and..... a blown speaker straight out the box. The first soundbar was returned to Bestbuy and exchanged for another. This one sounded great for slightly less than 2 months before the subwoofer developed a loud vibration/distortion at certain frequencies. On Monday the warranty process starts...

    Buy Something Else

Almost impossible to pair subwoofer with the speaker bar (bluetooth.) When you hook the JBL system to your TV, you have to use the JBL volume controller (a small, wafer thin remote) to control the TV volume. The TV remote no longer manages the TV volume. I paid $399.00 for this system. Way too much. I didn't research TV speakers before I made this purchase. I'll avoid JBL in the future.

We bought this product four months ago and we contemplated returning it but didn't actually do so. We're regretting the decision now. The sub and soundbar almost never par. Now four months later we can't get any sound. We've done everything even called JBL tech support. Now we have a 400$ product that doesn't work.

    Loved the sound

Great product!! Very loud, perfect for the garage gym, loud enough to hear and it can be moved around without hassle of cords. Only problem is it fell on the concrete and it dented and the rubber scratched easily. I recommend getting a case if you plan to move t around with you. I also liked it to take on road trips while in the car. Awesome product overall.

Subwoofer won't stay paired to soundbar

I bought the sound bar 350 a couple of months ago. Sound was great at first but I started noticing the sound wasnt the same a few weeks ago. The pairing btw sound bar and subwoofer keeps disconnecting. I've reset both multiple times, unplugged everything, etc. Repair them and they will stay connected for maybe 30 minutes at most but then the subwoofer blue pairing light goes off again. Very unhappy with this.
