The JBL Stage2 250B 2-way 5.25inch bookshelf speakers are JBL’s new offering in their latest lineup & these are impressive. Either use them for your home theater setup or for your music listening setup and you can’t go wrong which way you choose. But if you choose to do a home theater setup they pair nicely with the rest of JBL’s new lineup including the new MA series AVR, floor standing speakers, center channel and Stage2 subwoofers. The pair I have come a beautiful Espresso finish that make these speakers look classy. They come with a magnetic speaker grill that has the classic JBL logo on front that pop off easily. In the package they also include some anti slip pads that help secure your speakers and help with vibrations. On the back of the speaker is a rear firing port and five way binding posts that gives you whatever option you need for connection. How do they sound? They sound great in my opinion. I used them to replace my current rear surround speakers in my 5.1.2 setup and boy was I pleased. I watched a few movies to test them out and I could hear more details than the previous pair I was using. I was quite pleased that I decided to use them for my hi-fi setup in my office and was even more blown away using them dedicated for music only. Love this new offering from JBL and hope to enjoy them for years to come.

I set the JBL 250B speakers up with the JBL Stage 2 245C center speaker and the JBL MA710 receiver and have been very happy. I wanted something affordable but that would also provide better sound and flexibility than a soundbar and this family of products fit the bill perfectly. I’m using the rear surrounds, sub and ceiling speaker (set as Atmos) that I already had and after calibration have been very pleased. I’m not an audiophile by any means but for my purposes this setup sounds great!

The sound is clear, very good for vocal, Solid build, love the walnut color, only thing I noticed is the bass is not that great, you would need to rely on subwoofer, but the benefit is you can hear every detail in sound.

I chose these over the KEF-550s, which cost 3x more. I've had these for a week, but I ordered the KEFs over the weekend. I own JBLs. I have a mini-bookshelf pair sitting under the big TV powered by an SAE 50 watts/rms/ch amplifier. The TV has RCA outputs. I am also getting my wife to bring down my JBL Northridge Series N26II speakers I bought 22 years ago from Best Buy. They have the same specs, but I think they sound much better. I'm swapping these with her for the N26's. My KEFs will be arriving on Thurday. I have a Rotel Power Amp/PreAmp combo putting 100 watts into 8ohms/200 watts into 4 ohms. They were powering a pair of Magneplanar SMGs, but I appear to have damaged the right speaker. I didn't want to spend 3Gs on new replacements. Don't get me wrong. These speakers are okay, but for God sake - it's JBL. I recall the legendary JBL 4301s from the late 70s or early 80s. I chose the B&W DM400s over those. I was poor back then, but I wish I could have owned the JBL 4301s too. Cheers.

These may be small, but they put out a loud of sound and it sounds good! I’m a music producer with thousands invested in high-end studio monitors and these are great for testing after-the-mix versions. Yes, they are not studio monitors, therefore designed differently, but for listening to finished tracks or vinyl or CD’s, these pack a good punch of great sound. Well done JBL!

Great flat response curve that allows me to EQ music to my tastes. Excellent clarity and volume with a turntable and small Class D amp.

Decent speakers that look pretty good on the shelf. Online reviews weren’t that great for die hard folks but they sound good to me and were a really good value.

Great sound from a bookshelf speaker with clear highs and solid lows for the size. Beautiful finish and solid construction of the speaker cabinet. Would work well in a medium to small sized room. Came well packaged and easy to setup. Paired up well with a good amplifier for loud but accurate highs and mid range.

They look super classic and High end. I got the one in Latte. I like my speaker with the grill on. Easy set up, Excellent sound Quality. Would love to have floor speaker with JBL in future.

I have owned 4 different sets of bookshelf speakers so far and these have blown me away. Out of my 4 sets these have by far the widest range of highs and lows, being able to fill a room, as well as absolute awesome clarity.

I PULLED MY 80'S KENWOOD STEREO OUT OF STORAGE & NEDEDED SOME NEW SPEAKERS.......... THE JBL STAGE2 SPEAKERS SOUND FANTASTIC !! MY OLE KENWOOD SYSTEM IS ALIVE & WELL !! NOT TO MENTION WORKING IN THE SHOP IS AN ENJOYABLE EXPERINCE TO SAY THE LEAST. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JBL PRODUCTS...

This pair of JBL bookshelf speakers live up to the JBL reputation. They provide a good balanced sound for their size. I have them connected to a Pioneer Receiver- Amplifier VSX - 515 and NAD CD player. I love the sound. I do plan to get a JBL bar speaker to boost the surround sound. Love these little speakers.

Great sound clean look nice speakers, I put these in the garage but they worked great in the house too

These speakers sound excellent, and they fit very neatly on my bookshelf. I've never had JBL speakers that were anything other than excellent.
