When I first unboxed the JBL Stage2 250B 2-Way Bookshelf Loudspeakers, I was immediately impressed by their sleek design and compact size. Setting them up in my living room, I was curious to see if their performance would live up to their impressive build quality. As soon as I powered them on, I knew I was in for a treat. The 5.25-inch Polycellulose ribbed cone woofer truly delivers on JBL’s promise of deep, room-filling bass. For their size, these speakers pack a surprising punch. Whether I was listening to bass-heavy tracks or more nuanced acoustic pieces, the sound was consistently rich and full-bodied. I’ve used larger speakers before, but these compact units hold their own, providing bass that’s both deep and accurate without overwhelming the mids and highs. One of the standout features for me was the 1-inch Anodized Aluminum Tweeter paired with JBL’s Next Generation HDI Waveguide. We’re super excited about this item, however, when our son opened the box at Christmas, the top corner of one of the speakers was damaged. He took it out of the box the further examine it and put it back in the box, we didn’t even try them because if the damaged corner. We are hoping we’re allowed to exchange them and try again.

Really am enjoying these speakers but i do wish it was a little more punchy

Good speakers for computer / bedroom / or home theater. Wouldn't recommend for main music listening if you don't have a sub. They couldn't handle any low end. I ended up with KEF Q350's and they sound great all the way around. Again, not knocking these JBL's, they just didn't fit for my usage. Your mileage may very.

Good build quality but sound is only “ok” i went back to my elac debuts pretty quickly
