Awesome headphones
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this on sale but I am very surprised. The sound is outstanding, great materials and quality. No need to buy a Bose when you can buy this. It comes with everything and works with Alexa or Google.

Best gym headphones
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I had the last model and my only complaint was the cups hurt your ears and no bass. They fixed those issues with this pair. You not going to mess them up sweating. Must have if your a gym rat.

Project rock
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great in the gym. It’s crazy how much noise is blocked out when switching from noise cancelling to ambient aware. The buttons are a bit of a learning curve coming from beats pro. Great quality.

A Piece of the Rock
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the Rock collection. I’ve always one them but I didn’t want to spend that much. Once they were on sale I decided that I wanted them. Great price, great quality and the sound is fantastic.

Decent workout cans; not worth the $300 price tag
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm usually a TWS earbud guy. Over-the-ear cans always get me a bit overheated and sweaty; causing me to remove them in between sets. Unfortunately, I've been getting ear infections with earbuds (Primarily the Galaxy Buds Pro) so I've had to gravitate towards over-the-ears. I chose these due to the IPX4 rating and yes, the "Rock" hype. Bonus for the ANC/ambient modes, the auto-pause/resume feature, and the "app" with a custom EQ. I put "app" in quotations, because as an Android user, the "app" is broken. I was told by Harman that the app "should" be fixed in a few weeks. If you're an iPhone user you're just fine. Fortunately I downloaded an EQ app called Wavelet that has helped with the volume and bass. I do have an iPad and can update the controls using the iOS app via the iPad. I can also use the custom EQ in the JBL app to get the best sound (Sorry, but the Personal Rock setting doesn't do it for me). But I'm not dragging my iPad into the gym. That's just silly. The fit is snug, with a comfortable headband. Sometimes when I'm leaning back in some exercises the headbands feel like they're wanting to slip a bit. The controls take a bit of muscle memory to know where to click. Pressing "pause" is hit-and-miss. If I'm not using the auto-pause/resume and resort to trying to hit pause it can take a few times to hit the "sweet spot" to pause and resume the music. I wish the function button had an option to remap it to be a pause button. The only reason I gave this 3 stars in lieu of 2 is because the price was reduced to $150. I contacted them for a price-match since I was still within my return window and they refunded $150 to me. These are worth $150 all day. $300? Not unless you only want to buy into the "Rock/Brahma Bull logo" hype.

Good over the ear headphones for workouts
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very happy with these as they are great for workouts. I Don't like earbuds. They are a little tight but I don't notice after awhile. That's expected because they need to stay on and not fall off. Sweat resistant.

Ok
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really comfortable and cool bass, don’t expect super loud volume, and also the headphones don’t always turn off when you take them off I guess the sweat interferes with the sensors

Bad Buttons and Brigh Lights
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'd like to meet the dope that put that giant bull's head button in the right ear cup and kick his butt. You cannot lay down with these things on because that stupid button gets pressed if you turn to the right and then the headphones announce loudly "Noise cancelling off!" and then a second later "Noise cancelling on!" then "Ambient aware!". I get it - these are meant for working out. But does it really need a button the size of a half-dollar coin? Sitting on a plane trying to sleep against the right window seat initiates a repeated chorus of noise cancelling alerts. Another complaint is the other controls. For $300 I expect separate volume, play, and skip buttons. Not this overpriced toy. There is one control that does everything and it sucks at doing everything. First it is positioned too far back - it's hard to reach. Second, the play and stop bit almost never works. Always ends up just increasing the volume. Third, to skip you have to press the volume button twice quickly and then it takes half an eternity to start the next track. And then there are the lights. You could work in a coalmine with the freaking light these things emit. Very bright (for goodness only knows why) white light shines from the front. Again, not good for laying down and listening and playing on your phone with 40 watts of white light glaring on it. Then there's the blue light on the bad which clearly meant to annoy your spouse as they sleep. Taped over the white light but the blue light is embedded in the On-Off switch. Best I could do was to color it with a black marker. The overall comfort is not too bad while standing or sitting. Simply dreadful laying down. The sound quality is excellent and the noise cancelling work great. For what I paid ($100 on sale) I can tolerate the bad bits but don't you even think about paying full price for these.

In order to skip or play the previous track, you must hold the volume + or volume - for 2 seconds. You may download the JBL Headphones app to turn off some of the features you don't need like noise-canceling and Ambient sound control.

Best headphones I have purchased.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love them for the most part. I wish there was a way to turn off the light on them but the sound is fantastic with noise cancelling and ambient sound option is great too.

Good if you got it on sale.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decent headset just think not worth it with the regular price, build quality is superb the main selling point for me is the washable ear cushions and water resistant. Adaptive Noise Cancelling is decent just don't compare it to Sony or Boss but the Ambient Aware I don't really see what's the different with its on. All in all a good headset if you got it on a big sale, also keep in mind the first model color white I got the left and right side have different color other side of the headphones is color yellow made me feel that on the long run white will fade to yellow lol.
