A: Yes it can, but the Earphone End of Wire is 2.5mm. The other end is the normel 3.5mm. These headphones sound great with phone.

A: Our JBL UA Project Rock supports standard SBS codecs. It is standard A2DP. It does not support APT-X or LDAC. Using these headphones while watching videos may cause audio-video delays since it's designed for listening to music.
