This speaker is amazing. I already had the smaller pill shape JBL speaker and wanted to upgrade. I decided to splurge on this and it’s totally worth it. Be sure to play with the equalizer settings in the app to really get this thing bumping. I took it to a party a few weeks ago and had it blasting music for 8hrs. My friends couldn’t stop talking about how awesome this thing sounds. If you can handle the price tag, you won’t be disappointed!

Speaker is loud and has great Bass response. I use it at work and all of my coworkers have JBL flips. They were all so excited when they heard how well this speaker sounded. It is a little clunky to carry around at work, but definitely great for parties or around the house/yard. I love this speaker. The battery really lasts a long time also, especially with playtime boost, which just damps the lows, but increases the high-mids.

Definitely way better than the Extreme 3, a lot mor louder and powerfull, I purchased it to try and was planning to return the speaker if it sounde similar to the xtreme 3, but this extreme 4 sounds way better I heard it and decided to keep it, it sounds amazing, I have a boom box 3, but use more my extreme 4 because of the improved sound and portability.

JBL is the first and only speaker that has great sound, ease of connectivity, and has a battery life that is worth the cost. You will not be disappointed in the JBL brand. I liked it so much I bought four of the CHARGE5 models.

I Love the Jbl Sounds great and has long battery life i use it in my UPS truck and it sounds great and I don't have to worry about charging everyday because of the long battery life
