This JBL speaker delivers surprisingly powerful bass for its size. The low end is deep, punchy, and hits hard without overpowering the rest of the sound. The speaker has an excellent sound, the best of all. My children use it near the pool and as it is water-approved, it does not go bad, the battery life is very good. I recommend it for family reunions or if you are going to the beach with friends to enjoy.

It sounds amazing, gets loud, and I honestly cant remember the last time I charged it. Granted I only use it casually, but I walked around Toronto with friends back in march, and I know I haven't charged it since then and still going strong.

I already have the Exteme 3 that I have had for years and I have used it camping, fishing, it's been out in the rain and dirt, it works great. I wanted another speaker to use at home. I love the sound of the Exteme 3 and I'm just as impressed with the Exteme 4.

I bought this speaker for my golf cart and it has a great sound, also like the strap that comes with it and that you can change out the battery in it. I also bought it because I have the JBL Party Box 320 that also has great sound and I love that they both use the same battery

I love the sound quality from this speaker! Big beautiful sound out of a quality speaker that I can tote anywhere. Love the long battery life. Love the equalizer that I can operate from my phone. Makes me listen to music more…thank you for that!

I love the sound of this speaker. Crisp mids and highs and good bass. The included shoulder strap is great for portability. I really like the fact it has an access door for a replacement battery to give the speaker some longevity

Did lots of research on bluetooth speakers prior and went with the JBL Xtreme 4! I wanted something with quality sound that didn't break the bank. I got a great deal on Black Friday and am very pleased with my choice! I also love how you can pair it with your tv or other JBL speakers. The app was user-friendly to adjust the sound to your own personal preferences. This speaker has great sound quality and packs a good punch! Another impressive speaker from JBL!!!

[Employee of bestbuy] I absolutely love this speaker, I bring it almost everywhere with me now for hangouts or parties. I even have the clip 5 and I’ll pair them up to fill any space. It’s not only a cool party trick for a ton of people but it also fills the environment so well. The bass is not as deep as I expected but it echoes and fills the room very well, complimented by the clip 5 speakers, (or any other JBL speaker with auracast) you have your very own portable sound system. The battery life is so long I have used it for 3-4 days in a row without charging it once. Mind you that’s about 4-8 hours of daily use. I love that it’s waterproof and dustproof cause you could literally place it anywhere and if it’s dirty, you just wash it clean with some water for a couple seconds and you’re all good. I have personally been obsessed with JBLs since I’ve gotten this speaker. Sometimes the connectivity range falls apart behind walls but in an open space you get quite the distance with your phone from the speaker itself.

Very excellent sound. I have traveled to 3 countries. It withstands rain, salt water, and sand. It is very practical at all times. And what's more, it comes with a beer opener.
