The speaker is weak for jbl the music is crisp but the sound is weak. Even after adjustment with the jbl app there's no bass the volume levels are comparable to cheap speakers. If you dont like loud music volumes its for you but me i like to listen while working or in the house and hear from another room this speaker is not the one for that. Missed my return deadline because of work guess im stuck with it. My charge 4 is a stronger richer sound then this one and its half the size. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone unless you're tone deaf.

extreme volume not extreme sound. played every type of music there was not enough low-end bass to bring out the excitement. Mybe that is why there was so many open boxes at BestBuy.

Used it once, tried to use it again a couple weeks later and it would not charge!!! My son in law has one and he thought it might be the charging cord. But the cord worked on another appliance. I also learned that I missed the return date by a couple days! I don’t want to return, I want an exchange…

The lack of clean Bass makes the Boombox the clear choice!

The Extreme 3 is not a loud speaker. The videos they show touting how loud this speaker is is not true. It is only a little louder than the Jbl Extreme 2. Not worth the upgrade.

Se have a lot of outdoor pool parties with the kids and their friends. This thing works great. I feel comfortable having it outside, it also has the ability to be connected to our projector via aux for our outdoor movies. When the kids play basketball they bring it to the curb with them. It's a nice size and the quality of sound and durability is awesome. Battery life is awesome too.

What’s good exactly what I need for my garage working good

First things first I’m a huge fan of JBL. Normally their products are phenomenal, I’m not sure if mine just came defective or if they’re all like this, but my JBL speaker has had a lot of issues keeping a charge and the Bluetooth connection is quite troublesome. I can’t turn my back towards the speaker and not have connection issues to the point that the Bluetooth disconnects. The sound is amazing, but if it wasn’t for those issues I’d probably would keep the speaker.

Overall one of the best bluetooth speakers for its size on the market. Battery life is decent. Setup was super easy also has an app for syncing more speakers volume control and different eq settings. Comes with a heavy duty strap for carrying around and is extremely loud the bass has a deep sound due to the passive radiator design. JBL has done it once again.

Sounds great but the main issue is the battery only last about 4-5 hours on a full charge.
