Great sound. Very clear and crisp. We use ours with our outdoor theater system and it works just fine.

If you tend to host indoor or outdoor parties and curate playlists for each of them, then the JBL Xtreme 3 makes for a good choice. The new rubberized grips at the bottom of the speaker may not please everyone, but that’s hardly a reason to avoid it. The speaker’s ability to charge other devices is handy for both you and your guests. Plus, the IP67 rating will bring you an additional bit of peace of mind at the beach or by a pool.

Easy to link to Bluetooth. Just wish it had an adjustable equalizer.

extreme volume not extreme sound. played every type of music there was not enough low-end bass to bring out the excitement. Mybe that is why there was so many open boxes at BestBuy.

For the size, you would think it would pump out a much louder sound than the 2, but it's just about the same. I use this for my work van since there is no radio. Due to it being round-edged, whenever I brake or accelerate, it tends to roll. I've already ruined one charger because of that. Aside from that, it's a good speaker.

The Extreme 3 is not a loud speaker. The videos they show touting how loud this speaker is is not true. It is only a little louder than the Jbl Extreme 2. Not worth the upgrade.

Se have a lot of outdoor pool parties with the kids and their friends. This thing works great. I feel comfortable having it outside, it also has the ability to be connected to our projector via aux for our outdoor movies. When the kids play basketball they bring it to the curb with them. It's a nice size and the quality of sound and durability is awesome. Battery life is awesome too.

What’s good exactly what I need for my garage working good

Overall one of the best bluetooth speakers for its size on the market. Battery life is decent. Setup was super easy also has an app for syncing more speakers volume control and different eq settings. Comes with a heavy duty strap for carrying around and is extremely loud the bass has a deep sound due to the passive radiator design. JBL has done it once again.

First things first I’m a huge fan of JBL. Normally their products are phenomenal, I’m not sure if mine just came defective or if they’re all like this, but my JBL speaker has had a lot of issues keeping a charge and the Bluetooth connection is quite troublesome. I can’t turn my back towards the speaker and not have connection issues to the point that the Bluetooth disconnects. The sound is amazing, but if it wasn’t for those issues I’d probably would keep the speaker.
