Great for Active Users

They come with 8 sets if tips, so they should fit a wide variety of ears. They stay in throughout vigorous exercise, and they are sweat proof. I'm a figure skater and I've used them at the rink and they feel secure through all my programs and drills. The sound is about average for earbuds at this price point. If you're looking for audiophile quality sound, these probably won't cut it for you, but for gym use, these are fine. They are easy to pair, and the auto-on feature is awesome. After a week of use, I haven't had to recharge the case. The case can also be used as a battery pack for other devices. I used it to charge my tablet and it worked fine.

Great product but could use improvement
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My overall impression before getting into detail is that these are great for anyone looking for a nice sounding, secure, truly wireless pair of headphones for doing physical activity. Aside from some minor annoyances detailed below they fit the bill perfectly. The sound quality of these headphones are really great. They have 3 modes to select from and all sound pretty good depending on what you are listening to. They also have an alert mode which lets sound through purposefully for things like running outside, that's pretty neat. During regular use no sound comes through for the most part. The fit is one of my favorite things about these headphones. I believe there are 6 rubber attachments and one foam pair which I find the most comfortable. Its a really small market for truly wireless headphones WITH an ear hook. Air pods and similar style earbuds cannot stay in my ears when I am working out, running, jumping, etc. And the other style that has a wire connecting the earbuds are really uncomfortable and snag the buds out when turning my head. Point is, these give you the most versatility/security. This product would be a 5* review if I stopped right now but I have to mention two important annoyances. The more minor one is that these are touch controls that utilize tapping/long pressing. While this is modern/cool it is not very practical. Sometimes it does not register a tap and you don't really have a way of knowing until your desired action does not happen or an action you did not want happens. For example, pausing a track requires a double tap, and sometimes I will try and nothing happens. After numerous attempts it registers a triple tap and that turns on the environmentally aware mode (letting in ambient noise for safety). I am still getting used to the touch controls and im sure I will be proficient in time but I have been using them for a month now, about 4-5 hours per week exercising and they still don't register the correct input sometimes. The second, main annoyance of this product is the low battery indicator. Using your smartphone you could check the percentage of the earbuds. When first powered on they will tell you either "Full Battery, Medium, or Low" with low starting at 25%. These earbuds have a 5hr rated use time which means when low battery hits they should last AT LEAST an hour and a half. I timed this multiple times and when they alert you of low battery you have less than 10 min until theyre dead. This is extremely frustrating if youre just beginning your workout session. The voice also tells you low battery repeatedly every 1-2mins until they die. This doesn't really help since they die so quick. Just today I did my workout which lasted about one hour. I was told they had medium battery upon powering on. Halfway through my workout it started chiming low batter and they died 8min after that. I actually upgraded to this pair of earbuds from a generic brand off amazon specifically because those would do the exact same thing! I thought that for over $125 these earbuds would have better control of that aspect. My only solution to this problem is to constantly keep them topped off which is quite easy with the charging/carrying case. Still, this is an unforgivable inconvenience that I cannot overlook. Why make the low battery indicator when they are about to die in less than 10min and not earlier? Im sure they could've been programmed to truly tell you low battery at about 30% that way you could definitely finish a workout. Again, the quality and fit of these headphones are on point. If you get used to the controls and keep them charged all the time then you will likely enjoy them. If you are like me and let your electronics discharge fully (or close to it) before charging you will be aggravated.

Better off buying another brand

Set up was difficult to say the least. The sensitivity of the headset makes it impossible to use the way it’s supposed to be used. Would not recommend if you’re looking for something with a quick and easy to set up and go... stay far far away from this!

Very solid, comfortable earbud/headphones

Pros (like many others have stated) Light and comfortable Really good sound music and phone We love that the case is the charger and it has a build in USB cord Cons(again, like many others have said) Earbuds are placed in the case backwards. I know this sounds funny and you get used to it but you would think that the design team would ahve caught this. If your phone is on the opposite side, it can disconnect but then reconnect. Volume controls with my meat-hooks for hands is not going to happen so I use the phone for volume control. The android app is worthless so don't even bother. Now I will say this is my first wireless set of earbuds so this is more comparing what i am used to (wired) vs this set. I wasn't sure if I would even like these and now I do not use anything else. For working out, they stay in and fit very well. the sound is really good, and can be loud if you wish, or you can have it low and be able to hear your music and the runner that is coming up on your left. The battery life is from my understanding, is average for total wireless earbuds. thee convenience factor is unreal, we love that it comes with a case that can be charged so that it has multiple charges stored up. not to mention that the case serves to protect them. So overall we are very happy with the purchase and the only reason i didn't give it a 5 was due to the price (we got them on sale so its justifiable at the sale price) and the case design (with them being in backwards) even though we are used to it now.

JLab earbuds Epic Air Elite are painful

Tried these on for four hours in first use. Returned for refund immediately as after couple hours my ears were burning and it was so painful. My ears still hurt even couple hours later. Would not recommend.

LOVE THESE JLAB EPIC-AIR EARBUDS!

Loved the earbud case with the "wrap around" cable affixed to it ... the cable is always handy that way AND unique so you'll know what the cable goes to. Instructions were super easy to understand, and were neat & tidy - very small and compact mini-booklet of instructions! The earbuds charge inside the attractive hard case, with lights easily seen on top of it to tell you if fully charged, or still in-process. The earbuds were super comfortable and easily adjusted. I usually don't like "things in my ears", but these are an exception. I'm taking these with me on my 6 week vacation this weekend, so they'll get a real workout! The Bluetooth connection to my smartphone was quick and easy; the Samsung S8+ easily found the buds. I played various types of music and the sound that was played through the buds was amazing ... loud and clear! A great little product!

Flexible, durable, and won't fall out!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using the Epic Air Elite earbuds for the last week, I have to say these are a huge improvement of the regular Epic Air earbuds! The biggest improvements so far are an improved connection (almost no drops while running or biking... even Apple's Airpods have issues with that!), better clarity, enhanced sound modes, and the biggest improvement is in the user controls on the sides! The user controls went from having a strong learning curve to intuitive and able to be learned with just a quick glance at the manual! Another great improvement is the auto-on when removed from the charging case, this is a small thing but, creates an effortless connection. The only negative I can think of is the case has not moved to USB-C but, this is just a minor personal preference as most of my devices have moved to that connection. Overall: great sound, easy setup, easy use, intuitive controls, FULLY WIRELESS!!!!, great connection, and the ear-wrap antennas keep the earbuds securely in your ears!
