    Decent Product

First pair worked great. Comes with a variety of ear plug attachments to find your right fit, including one you cannot find anywhere, and it works great! held up well for the first 6 months that I owned the product, then all the sudden one of the headphones was not catching a charge. I logged on to the website where I registered the product, got the RMA info, and shipped the product to JLabs. about a week and half later I received a brand new updated pair. My only issue with the updated charging case is that the Charging cable attached to the case is too short, so if you plug into a wall outlet, it leaves the case hanging and the headphones will not make contact and catch a charge. Other than that they hold up very well during my workouts and are very comfortable. I have yet to try the swipe controls on the new headphones themselves. The first set i was not very proficient at getting them to perform the functions I needed so i haven't bothered with it on the net set.

    6 Hour Wireless Ear Buds

The two best things about these buds is their 6 hours battery life (an hour longer than the leading brands) and the ear hooks. These JLab buds at least have a hook to keep them from completely falling off. But, the overall sound is average, mostly because it was difficult to get the snug fit ear buds need. The power buttons on the buds are on the ear facing side. The result is that you have to power them on before inserting them, and invariably you end up toggling the surface controls on the outside when you don't mean to. The case is quite large and heavy for buds as well, but that’s because they hold 32 hours of charge. Overall I give them 3.5 stars and recommend you to try them, especially at an MSRP of $150.

I own several sets of earbuds and these are nice. The built in USB cable on the case is really handy. I never have to search for it, as it wraps around the case. The sound is good, but not the best I have encountered. There are three predefined settings with a standard, a nice sounding JLab mix and an extra bass setting. JLab is going the right direction with the controls on each earbud. It takes some memorization, but once I learned the functions, it was great. Pairing is easy and they work well. Overall, a very nice product. The charging case is nice, but it’s large. The ear pieces fit in well and are snug. I have been listening most of the day on a single charge. They are rated at six hours and I believe that this is accurate.

    Stays connected & stays on.

I originally bought the JLab Air and loved them. However, while they are great for everyday wearing, I did not feel confident that they would stay in while I was on a 20-mile bike ride. I ride often and need to know that the earbuds will stay put. I like the fact that all the controls are on the earbuds; fast-forward, skip, rewind, play/pause, volume, etc. and I don't have to press into my ear. It takes learning the number of taps on the earbuds to know what each will do but within no time, I learned it as it is quite intuitive. The sound is great once you have figured out which gel tips fit best. The app is useless so don't bother to download. Maybe they'll work on that soon...hopefully. Also, the BE AWARE audio kind of distorts the music but i does what it is intended to do. The price point is right for this, especially if you can get it on sale like I did. The warranty is the best and I spoke with customer service prior to the purchase to ask several product questions and I was very impresssed. The person with whom I spoke was professional and personable. I look forward to many long bike rides listening to my music while being aware of my surrroundings.

Perfect if you don’t wear a hood at the gym...

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

My husband purchased these for me... They were perfect for my workouts until I wanted to slip my hood on while I worked out or while in the sauna. The sensitivity of the touch mode on the buds is very high. So every time my hood touched them... it would either raise or lower the volume or kick over to voice mode without me even wanting to. The security hook that goes around the ear is not pliable. So if your ears are smaller like mine you may find them a bit loose. But overall they stayed on during my workouts. The triple ridged earplug was a perfect fit for smaller ear canals. Good connection with phone. IMO the bass was not too high. ( I prefer more treble). However I will be returning these because I enjoy wearing my hoods too much! I hope this helps someone.

    Better for Running Outside

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have tried several sets of true wireless bluetooth earbuds for running outside, and all of them have had had problems with constantly cutting out, losing the connection. I use a Sandisk CLip Sport Plus MP3 player clipped to my waistband. These earbuds seem to cut our less, but still too much to be acceptable. However, when I relocated the player to an armband, I was able to eliminate the cutouts completely. I had not been able to do this with any of the other headphones. The sound is also quite good on these. I use the signature equalizer setting. Overall, of the wireless headphones I've tried for running outside, these have performed the best.

While they are comfortable ONCE you get them fitted to your ears, the sound quality is simply lacking. They do have three EQ settings but none of then really work well. Bass boost really doesn't and with any of the three, high frequencies and cymbal crashes are muddy. Additionally, the connectivity signal strength is horrid. They work fine when within 3 feet but not over 20. Tried with pc, phone and tablet and range is terrible. I would not recommend this set.

    Perfect, besides sound quality

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

First off, I’d like to say that I had these headphones for less than 24 hours but that’s because Best Buy’s website had false information in the description. I also bought these for $75 on Cyber Monday rather than the $150 they’re priced at which was a steal. However, these don’t have aptX codec which Best Buy mentions in its descriptive information. Looks like Best Buy just copied JLab Epic Air’s information and posted on the Epic Air Elite’s page. Anyway, for a real review than just a complaint, if you’re in the market for true wireless earbuds, these check all the boxes that precede 2018. Without USB-C, Bluetooth 5.0, or any codec besides SBC, JLab doesn’t seem to be caught up with the times. But this is still a good product, especially at $75. $150 is really pushing it for the lack of features mentioned above, but if you’re not concerned about the purest sound while wearing these, then by all means get them. They’re comfortable, subtle, and are convenient when it comes to connecting and charging. But if you’re looking for sound quality, there’s much better out there.

These are the best wireless headphones at this price point I use them while I run, and they fit comfortably (no ear pain), have a very nice and balanced sound, and NEVER fall-out The best part is that they are relatively cheaper than the famous brands Could not be happier, and I will keep coming back

    Overall Pretty Good

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I have cauliflower ear and tiny tiny ears, had to return my apple ones too large in ear. Its hard shopping for small in ears. These are not bad but after a hour it gets a little sore. Hard to skip songs. Usually I have one in and one out at work. Keep my phone in the right pocket so it works well with the primary side of the bud. The loop around the ear is fine without having to adjust it. Bluetooth is fast. I have to fight off my car bluetooth because my iphone will sync both. The features are interesting, I like white noise so the weird alert back ground static doesn’t bother me. The sound in general doesn’t get loud, i’m sure there is a health thing with that. If you want loud and bass these are not the way to go. On the other hand the phone is very clear, people haven’t complained about not hearing me yet. Even with a beenie over the bud.

I tried this Earbud Headphones because I wanted it for the gym and was sure that overhear is the best option. However, this headphone had poor sound quality. Even at the MAX volume, I hardly can hear. Also, any toUch in the headphone changes the connectivity. I have nothing good to say about this headphone. As much AS I wanted this heaphone I was very disappointed.

      Hey NATIS,
So sorry to hear of your experience with the Epic Air Elite. The most important thing when it comes to sound quality is a proper seal. This unit puts out 110 db, which is quite loud. Also, the unit you have is equipped with 'be aware" audio, which more than likely is engaged, causing lower volume by design. We do cover our Bluetooth headphones with a two-year limited warranty. When you get a chance, please reach out to us either via email [email protected] or shoot us a call at 405.445.7219 Monday-Thursday between 8am-5pm p.t Friday 8am-3pm p.t so that we may further troubleshoot, and provide you with some options.

Big bulky air pod copy cat/beats copy cat

Not a real fan of these. They are copy cats of air pods and beats as they charge in their own case and are cordless/wireless. However they are big and bulky and stick way too far out of the ear and also the case is odd with a wrap around USB to charge them while in the case. The sound was okay but I had so much trouble fitting them in the ear, it was a hassle and uncomfortable. I ended up not even using them.

Left Earbud Randomly Stops Working -- Tinny Sound

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

Going to return these after poking around the internet. These are inherently flawed. Left earbud still works as far as controls (on/off, volume). However there is no audio in the left earbud. I've reset multiple times to re-pair earbuds to no avail using the manufacturers instructions. These are less than 2 months old. Pros: It's not an apple product Cons: Bad sound quality, controls are flaky, Bluetooth connection is weak (can't put phone in left pocket without BT cutting out. Instructions specify it must be in right pocket. I have other wireless earphones that work at 15+ feet regardless of pocket placement).

These little earbuds aren't the worst for bluetooth earbuds. They are however not very loud at all. I have them constantly maxed out. When used for running I still ever every other noise in the world (not a bad thing when running). However when i'm home and want to really enjoy some music these don't cut it. Every free pair of earbuds i've gotten with a phone beat these in every way. Also not that comfy to wear for more than a few hours. The wrap around the earpiece is more firm than medded and with the angle of earpiece going into ear canal it just doesn't work with my body. I've tried all the different ear cancel peices and nothing changed.
