The JLab Audio - JBuds Air ANC True Wireless Earbuds deliver astounding sound. I enjoy my music even more with these earbuds, and thanks to the noise canceling feature I can block unwanted ambient noise from the background like when traveling in the car, or at the gym. The volume level is perfect. They get loud enough to hear the notes in your music clearly without creating discomfort on your ears, or causing the music to sound distorted. The battery life is exceptional for most general uses, with over 10hrs of playtime in each ear bud. Thanks to the charging case they are super easy to charge while on the go. In addition, the case includes an integrated with a USB charging cable. Now you don't have to worry about carrying an additional cable with you. Just plug the case in and it charges quickly to provide adequate battery life to a completely drained ear bud. Within a few minutes you are back in business. This ear bud set also features EQ management and listening modes. The movie mode is great for watching movies on your mobile device. It really enhances the listening experience by bringing the sounds of the movie to life. The package also includes gel and foam ear tips. Ensuring your ears remain comfortable. The design of the ear buds allows them to securely rest comfortably in your ear, even while exercising. Overall, the JLab Audio JBuds Air ANC True Wireless Earbuds are spectacular. You will be very happy with them. I recommend them for anyone looking for exceptional earbuds that provide amazing sound quality.

First thing with a $70 pair of earbuds ( or really any earbuds) is to set the proper expectations. Are they going to sound as good as an over the ear headset or earbuds that are 4 times the price? No, they are not. But with the JLabs Buds Air ANC True Wireless Earbuds, you are going to get a pair decent sounding earbuds at an affordable price but at the cost of some of the refinements of higher end earbuds. In review: Pros Included charging carry case. Equalizer with multiple modes. I like the Signature mode the best. Decent sound. Richer than it’s predecessor. Only $70. Battery life is long. Cons A bit large for my liking. Fall out with too much movement. Control a bit awkward. Indifferent Auto noise cancellation is just not as good as other brands I have tried. But it is hard to tell because of the nature of earbuds. I have the Sport Version of these earbuds and it just sounds better to me because I think it offers a better fit. Overall, the JLabs Buds Air ANC True Wireless Earbuds do what they are supposed to. I am not sold on how well the ANC works and think the sound is only marginal improvement of its predecessors the JBuds Air True Wireless Earbuds ( sans the ANC.) While I applaud the $70 price tag, I do not see enough improvement to justify a 40% increase in price. Nonetheless, I would still recommend the earbuds since the overall value is still very good for the package you get.

The last set of ANC JLab headphones I had were a major disappointment when it came to the active noise cancelling. These are a vast improvement on the last set I had. ANC is done really really well. I tested with a car radio on and headphones in. I turned on ANC and could not hear the radio at a "normal" level. I was immediately impressed. When I turned on the stay alert I was impressed because it actually made hearing seem slightly enhanced. I put them on in Walmart so I could hear my wife as she spoke away from where I was standing. Stupid I know, but I could actually hear what she was saying better. Sound is very well balanced across the boards. Nothing was too far out of balance with the default equalizer settings. They are really quite comfortable and the controls are very straightforward and intuitive. Battery life is excellent and estimated for 40 hours when you charge in the case. And MY biggest pet peeve has been corrected. The right ear bud is on the right in the charging case. And the left is on the left. Hard to fathom I know, but it is good to see my constructive criticism taken to heart. Well done JLab, I am glad I gave you another chance.

The JBuds wireless earbuds are pretty good for the price but have some quirks. I would have given them 3 stars if it weren't for the fantastic battery life. The earbuds themselves are pretty average in sound. They will not make you feel like you are listening to a high end setup, but they are not bad. Keep in mind that they are budget earbuds. The noise cancelling feature is not great either. Again, these are budget but they let in a lot of sound. They have 3 settings, ANC on, "pass through", and ANC off. When ANC is on, you can still hear most surrounding noise. They block out some noise but it feels like there is not really anything special happening with noise cancelation. When ANC is off, they just sound like run of the mill earbuds. When the pass through feature is on, it sounds the same as when ANC is off, but with a hissing noise. This feature is supposed to actually let in outside noise in case you need to be alert, but it just produces a hissing sound. The earbuds feature some type of touch response for the controls, no buttons. It can sometimes be hard for the bud to detect a press. This is better than one that is too sensitive I suppose and performs actions when you don't need it. The right earbud controls the volume up with a single tap. The play/pause is a double tap as opposed to a single tap like on every other earbud I have ever owned. That is kind of odd. And the long press changes the track, versus the traditional double tap on most earbuds. The left earbud controls the volume down with a single tap, and long presses control all of the noise cancelling features. The charging case is nice as it snaps in the earbuds with a nice magnetic click, very satisfying. But the magnetic hold is very strong, they are the hardest earbuds I have had as far as removing them from the case. The case has a built in USB plug that pops out and stores inside the case. This is very convenient, second only to wireless charging. One quirk that I do not like is sometimes they are hard to get in the case. This is because the earbuds have a rubber gasket that surrounds the buds that are meant to create a seal in your ear. This gasket type rubber is loose and moves around and will prevent the earbuds sometimes from fully locking into place in the wireless case. If they don't lock in, they will not charge and you will be left with a dead earbud when you need it most. Now where they really earn their keep, battery life. These things last like 7 hours on a single charge at a reasonable volume. I know many earbuds advertise long battery life, but these small buds honestly last the longest of all the ones I own. I use them to fall asleep and when I was up in the morning they are still playing music. They probably last longer than 7 hours but not much. The only quirk regarding the battery is the voice warns you "low battery" is very loud. If you are listening to music at a low volume because you are trying to fall asleep, this warning will surely wake you up. Overall, I think these are very good because of the price and battery life. For me, they are not my first choice for wireless earbuds though.

Strong performance, mostly easy to use

First, a caveat: my ability to compare these headphones with others is somewhat limited, as I have used a number of wireless earbuds, but not "true wireless" ones or true ANC buds. Overview: Compared to my Anker SlimBuds, these have some audio advantages and more adjustability with equalizer pre-sets and ANC, no ANC, or "Be Aware" settings for using in public/outside. They also seem to me a tick or two above cheaper Paris in the sound quality, but given that the Ankers are really quite a lot of earbud for a low price, that should be a given anyway. The true wireless is really nice; in comparison I've noticed how much a cord between "wireless" buds makes noises, or how much even a small control panel pulls on one side. Details: The JLab buds deliver strong performance for music, especially if you choose an eq setting that works well for the specific listening duty in mind. I found that the "signature" setting worked really well for orchestral music, delivering strong performance across the register and allowing good separation of tones. The bass+ setting works well for popular music--I tested this primarily with rock and pop, and the enhanced bass didn't overwhelm vocals or mid-range tones, but gave more thump. I've used the standard "balanced" setting for listening to voices and podcasts. You'd probably get a little more isolated sound or clarity from over the ear phones, but I was impressed with the detail I could hear. I listened to tracks from some soundtracks, and I could hear good bottom end as well as top definition. I'd say by comparison the Anker buds sound a bit muddled in the middle tones, and have less bass definition. The instrumentation is just clearer in these JLabs, and the registers have more separation and detail, especially in the middle tones. It sounds corny, but you're more likely to "feel" the cello string with the JLabs and definitely the timpani rumbles far more noticeably. The timpani is important to me because I'm a drummer, and something I really liked about the JLabs was that they worked surprisingly well for playing my kit along to music. I really challenged the noise cancelling by playing along using ANC, and it worked surprisingly well. In fact, for any non-over ear headphone, i.e. any earbud, these are the best I've ever used to play along. I could still hear the music over my own thumping, and I didn't even have the volume *that* high in my ears. The ANC is pretty impressive, I'd say, though I have no previous experience with this feature. In using these outside, I experimented with the different settings to get a sense of how much was cut out. I'd say it's quite helpful to use the "be aware" over the other settings. Even with "noice cancelling off" the buds themselves block more outside noise than I'd expect. The sound of cars passing was very noticeably different with "be aware" on, and I would NOT use ANC outside if you're actually moving, even with fairly low volume. I do not listen to music very loudly ever with headphones outside, just enough to hear the basic beat really, but the noise cancelling still enabled an amazing amount of non-awareness on the sidewalk. I imagine these are great on planes. Even just sitting around the house, they drain out exterior sounds without over amplifying contact noises from your own movements. This is something that is a real benefit of the "true wireless" system. The Anker buds have a wire between them, and this picks up a lot of interference when I move my head or the wire shifts on my collar. The control panel on the right side is small, but still annoying in comparison to the true wireless buds. The Ankers especially amplify footfalls when I run or even walk outside because of the wire's conductivity. The JLabs did much less of this. There's still a little amplification from footfalls, but far less than with other "wireless" headphones. Another plus: the bluetooth connection is very strong. I have not experienced much glitching or skipping. My Ankers sometimes glitch a bit, especially with my running watch, because the arm swing is a bit awkward. I did not really notice this happening with the JLabs. I was able to walk far away from anything I was listening to; I left my phone inside in one part of the house and walked outside, to the far end of the garden, and the connection finally got a little skippy. For phone calls, they work far better than I expected. The other end of the line said I sounded a little muffled, but clear, and not much different than any standard connection. A few times while wandering around (inside) and talking, my connection got a little choppy/staccato on the other end of the phone. However, my listening experience was crips and clear throughout. The only thing that holds these back for me is the comfort level and fit. That's a little less than great. They are just a bit uncomfortable for my ears, though I think I sort of have weird ears, and somewhat small ones. The Anker buds, for example, are really quite comfortable, with little fins that keep them very secure in my ears and choice of sizes. The size of the JLab unit is, necessarily, bigger than for wireless headphones connected by a wire, because the control panel is inside the buds. So, they are kind of big and rub my ears, especially on the right side. The "cush fins" certainly make them a bit softer, and I've worn them for 20 minutes to a few hours without screaming, but there's is some nagging annoyance. The earbud gels are fairly comfortable, and the blue tips, featuring a kind of squishy material, definitely provide some more security, though they are only in one size, and that size seems just a. bit big for my earholes. The left earbud fits pretty well, but the right just feels a bit off. Truthfully, that's just usually the case for me and buds; there's just something a little different about my right ear. The medium gel tip feels a bit big, the small a bit small. However, the buds are actually pretty secure despite feeling a little wonky. Thrashing around drumming, there was no danger of these flying out. Walking with them is no problem, and jogging *seems* ok. My ankle is bothering me, so I only jogged about .5 miles at a time with them in for testing, but they were secure despite me thinking they were going to fall out. If I had gotten sweatier, I'm less sure they'd be ok. Added to the discomfort is a little bit of touchiness on the control itself. There's a bunch of combinations of taps and hold, or taps and pauses, etc. with each bud that changes volume, skips tracks, changes the EQ, changes the ANC/Non ANC setting, etc. These are a little tricky to master perfectly, as it's hard to figure our exactly how much time and how much pressure to apply for a "tap" or "tap hold" or etc. That said, I'm already getting better at it. There is some inconsistency in using the controls in the buds vs. whatever device you're hooked through. I found that I could not control volume when I was listening through a Mac computer, but could with my phone or tablet. This may be user error, but it may also require some getting used to. It's a little annoying to be tapping on them as well because of the comfort issue...bopping my right ear reminds me that they are a little annoying to wear. Pairing is easy, and the only trouble I've had is with my running watch, which sometimes seems to get confused if there are more than one devices in its pairing list. I have not had any problems with any other device, so I'm pretty sure it's the watch, which has gotten confused before. Battery life is very strong and charging is easy and fast. I charged up the case when I first got the buds (which came with charge themselves, working right out of the box) and have deposited the buds in the case each time I've finished with them while testing. I have not had to charge the case yet (three days) and the buds are always at "high" when I put them in. I have not used them for a long enough marathon to wear them down, so I don't really know how long one charge will go. I can believe the 6 hours ANC estimate. The case charging thing is pretty genius, I have to say. I had a truly junky pair of earbuds I used for running, and those things never held a charge and couldn't go more than 4 hours. This system (which I realize is common at this price point) is pretty great. The case has an integrated charging cord, which is ridiculously short, and it does not come with an adapter plug. That sort of cheeses me, but it's pretty common for most devices now to cheap out on the plug. I'm glad we invested in switching some outlets over to have USB ports as well as regular plug ports. If you're still reading, I'm sorry for all this detail. But hopefully it helps you! Overall, I think most folks will be happy with these and they do a lot for a pretty reasonable price tag.

These headphones are great. I don't like having to worry about a cord, I don't like having to utilize both earbuds sometimes. The only drawback is that they don't disconnect from my phone once they're in the case. They will ultimately disconnect when I move far enough away. The sound quality is phenomenal. They charge fairly quickly, and the charge lasts for a long time.

Overall it's a really good for a average headphones. It works as intended almost for an all day use. Issues and downside. 1- App's kind of wonky as of now. Doesn't want to connect most times in the app for the button layout change. When it finally connects, not all the button layout that you change will work to your liking. Most will work then all. It's not reliable to keep messing with it until it works well. 2- Almost every pair I bought (a few many) until the last one. If those other ones that are new are now defective idk. When in ANC mode there is a rattle pop sound in the buds. With movement it just made the rattle pop sound to the ears; brain very uncomfortable. 3- When I put the buds in the case, and they are charging. Once they are done overtime in a random moment, something's triggering it to turn back on connect to my phone and there is no way to fix it, (without opening the case; close, or turning off the Bluetooth) to stop turning on when I'm not using it. If should know to be "OFF" when in the case and "ON" when you pull it out of the case. Idk if this happens to all of the changing cases, but for mine it has the issue.

The Jbuds fit well and have a 'lower' or closer to the ear profile than I was expecting - it's nice if you are resting your head. The foam option for the buds was a nice change, not sure if I will use them much, but it's nice to have the option. Being able to use either or both earbuds and switch was a nice feature as I spend a lot of time on the phone and it's nice to change ears. Microphone and incoming sound quality is solid - the Be aware noise cancelling mode seemed to work well, but I mostly use these in the office. The battery life, from what I have seen so far, is better than the 10 hours they state. The charger is compact and does the job quickly when I do recharge, but these last through a 9+ hour work day. All told, these are great earbuds and have options that are quite nice.

I wasn’t expecting a lot out of such an inexpensive set of earbuds, but I was very pleasantly surprised. This will compete with much more expensive sets and it’s even better than several of them, When I evaluate a set of earbuds, I look at several features and this impressed me on every level. I focus on sound, fit and the features advertised. First, the sound is impressive. It has three EQ settings, all of which can be controlled by tapping on either earbud. My favorite is the JLab Signature setting, but the Bass Boost setting is also very good. The balanced setting is pretty average, but that’s exactly what the setting would suggest. The sound is rich and very clear. The next feature is usually only found in much more expensive offerings. The “Be Aware” setting does a fantastic job of keeping the sound great and allowing in outside talking. I tested it in my living room and at the gym. I was able to listen to music while carrying on a conversation and having the television on in the background. The volume needs to be at a moderate setting, but this is to be expected. I then switched to the “Active Noise Cancelling” mode and it performed very well at filtering out unwanted noises. The off mode is self explanatory and behaved exactly as I would have expected. The button taps work very well and are responsive to the touch. The tap sequences worked exactly as described. The earbuds stayed in place while I was running on a treadmill, This is a quality that is hard to find without ear hooks. The molding of the earbuds fight nicely into my ear, as well as the ends. The fit is great and I didn’t need to press them like I have with many other brands. The charging case has a built-in USB cable that tucks away right into the case. This eliminates the need for me to carry an extra cable and finding the right one when I need to charge it. This is a well designed feature. The earbuds paired quickly and easily to both an iPhone and an Android device and sounded great through both mobile phones. JLab provides a mobile application to help burn in the earbuds, but it takes several hours and I did not take the time to perform the routine.

Excellent sound quality and battery life. I've owned these for 3years and its tine to replace them. The only reason they are being replaced is because the latch on the door has worn out and they connect at any time. Other than that they still work just fine. I even accidentally washed and dried them in my work pants and they still work.

These are very solid ear buds and produce excellent sound. I’ve used other Jlab earbuds and as always the pairing was very easy. I used with a cell phone and all the required functions were very intuitive. The only triple-tap was to change the equalizer settings which is okay; all other actions were one or two taps which I prefer. The buttons reacted with instant response and this is great since some earbuds often miss my taps. I also paired to a laptop and desktop and the pairing was simple and the sound was also very nice. I do think the noise cancelling feature was necessary listening to some songs on the PC’s; so I’m glad these earbuds include that feature. Several sets of ear foam are provided. I found the correct one for me and it was very comfortable to listen for over 2 hours. The ear buds secured very nicely in the ear, but it should be noted that these earbuds are not the type I use for jogging since I prefer the over the ear style for jogging (or treadmill) to ensure they stay in. Also I prefer this style for PC usage as it does not have the small bar that hangs down and feels more comfortable to me; and there is not much physical movement so they stay put. I like these earbuds best for me, as the design is more subtle and the earbuds work perfectly. Great product.

I bought this a couple of days ago. I wasn't overwhelmed. They sort of stay in your ears but you always feel they are about to come out, leaving an uneasy feeling. The sound is good but the volume only adequate.... more volume would be a plus but I can't get it. I am satisfied but really want more.
