They are not very bad to be honest but really not 5 stars. Sound quality is very good. They are kind of big in the ear but they provide very nice listening experience. The tapping shortcuts are working well but some are linked to one side earbud. A lot of tapping to remember. Still not that bad for every day use and enjoying music listening or movies watching. Selective mode is really good. Noise cancellation is not very aggressive but ok!. It is the best you can get for in-ear ear bud. There will be still some noise getting around the earbuds to the ear (unlike the over the ear headphone). I can say they are ok for that. No major complains on phone calls. They are doing right fine (don't relay much on gestures to answer and reject calls. Use the phone for more accurate function). Pairing is very easy. Works well with all electronics supporting BT (Laptop, tablet iOS, Android...) No issues at all. Battery life is amazingly good. With very long time use, never had the necessity to charge them or the case. It holds fine for very long time usage. Charging the case is easy but I'd like it more if it was the regular USB-C plug in port. Not the short USB wire plug included... You might need USB extension for easier charging... I'd recommend them for tough environment usage as they are built from tough plastic material making them very robust. They take hits nicely. They may be kind of bulky true but still very light weight. The earbuds are coming with different sizes of "ear gaskets" fittings making them comfy as desired. They are easy to clean and easy to store. The case has individual earbud charger indicator. Very useful indeed.. They would be just perfect with all the small flaws if the price was a bit less. They are a very good catch if you get them on sale or specials. I'd recommend them to somebody who likes loud music as their size allow loud playing. Long lasting batteries and nice noise cancellation.

    Why is there no button?!

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

I was really excited about these but these things are VERY touch sensitive. By this I mean that there is no button, it's more of a touch sensor. If your finger touches the touch sensor, it will initiate an action such as lowering/increasing volume, skipping the track, or any of the other MANY functions that these earbuds do. It's very annoying. Even when trying to place them in my ear, you have to push them in and this causes the buds to do a function. I wish the JLAB symbol was button rather than a sensor. In regards to the quality of the sound, I can't complain too much. It isn't anything amazing but it's not bad. The best feature about these buds is the 3 noise control modes. The fact that you can be aware of your surroundings while listening to music is pretty cool. The noise cancellation isn't the best, but it is definitely there... it definitely could be improved a bit. It would be nicer if they were a bit sleeker too, as they are slightly bulky compared to my other Bluetooth ear buds. Overall, I would give these a 3.5 out of 5 due to the functionality, the touch sensitivity, as well as the bulkiness. I think the value of these is pretty spot on for what you are getting. TBH I'm not sure if I would recommend these. I'm looking to return these and try another pair of earbuds as I'm sure there are better options.

    Great sound. Horrible battery life!

I say these earbuds sound like a higher priced $120 product. ANC is pretty decent. They sit in the ear comfortably. And they come with 3 different ear inserts including a foam set. That's the good. Now the bad. The touch sensor doesn't respond well. Sometimes it will freak out and lose all pausing capability from the esrbud. And the big negative, the battery is horrible. Not even 3 hours. That is horrible and if that is a common issue, unacceptable at this price point. I DO NOT recommend this product. Spend $20 more and get a decent set from someone else.

I will just start by saying - I absolutely love these earbuds! JLab has hit a home run with their JBuds Air ANC True Wireless Earbuds. In the box you will find the wireless earbuds, pill-shaped charging and carrying case, three extra pairs of ear tips, and quick start guide. The charging case is compact, with a solid build which provides great protection for the earbuds. Charging is accomplished via the attached USB dongle which tucks away nicely into the case itself. No extra cord or cable to carry around. Admittedly it does look a little strange to have the case dangling from whatever USB brick, or computer you choose to charge the case with. I would like to see JLab incorporate wireless charging for the case itself. It would be far more convenient to place the case on a charging pad. The case has an internal battery allowing the earbuds to charge while on the go. Placing the earbuds into the case begins the charging process. External dot lights provide visual feedback for the level of charging. Placing the earbuds into your ear for use will provide audio feedback for the battery level. Initial setup was by far the easiest process I have ever experienced with any device. I first paired my earbuds with an iPhone SE 2020 running iOS 14. I went to the bluetooth settings on the iPhone to search for new devices. With the JLab earbuds I literally just opened the case and they immediately connected. No placing them in pairing mode. As previously mentioned, there are three additional pairs of eartips included: 2 pair of gel eartips, and one pair of cloud foam eartips. Finding a comfortable fit is quite easy. Speaking of comfort, these earbuds are lightweight, extremely comfortable, and fit snuggly into the ear. This secure fit allows for being, walking, running, excersise, etc. without fear of them falling out. Now to the sound quality. In a word - amazing! Crisp, clear audio with more than adequate volume levels. No reverb feedback, echo, or tin-like sounds. I do have one negative comment in this area though. It has nothing to do with the earbuds themselves, rather the JLab app. It absolutely does NOT work. I don't mean it has minimal features, I mean it does not connect to the earbuds at all. Regardless of what I tried I was never able to connect. Looking through forums and app reviews, this seems to be a common complaint and issue. JLab, if you are reading this - please fix this issue. Without the app you are not able to fully utilize and experience what JLab earbuds. Within the app is where you can adjust the custom equalizer, adjust latency for movie mode, among other functions. Active noise cancelling works well with three modes - on, off, and "Be Aware" which allows outside and ambient noises to pass through. Battery life is exceptional. I had no issue getting through an entire day using these earbuds for listening to music, phone calls, and watching videos with the verbal "battery medium" indication. JLab has what they call "dual connect", which simply means these earbuds may be used as a pair, or individually. If you are using only one earbud, placing the second into your ear the connection is seamless. Each earbud has an independent microphone, so phone calls are possible regardless of which earbud you use. These microphones easily pick up voice without picking up much of the ambient noise, so your caller will hear you - not your environment. Overall I just can't say enough about these earbuds. Well-built, comfortable, impressive audio. As I said previously, my only complaint is the app. JLab you've got to fix this issue! Otherwise, the earbuds themselves are fantastic. I have no issue recommending these to friends, family, or co-workers.

    Disappointing.

I purchased these directly from jlabs, and I'm quite disappointed that they don't even come close to comparing to the audio quality of the $30 GO Air set. The active noise canceling is perfectly serviceable, and it's nice that there is a pass-through mode, but neither of them work particularly well. At this price, though, they are what one would expect. What I did NOT expect, however, was for the sound quality of music to be so muddy. They have the same three EQ options on every set of jlab buds, but there is pretty much no difference between them (unlike the cheaper GO Air headphones, which sound FANTASTIC right out of the box). All-in-all...not a bad purchase by any means, but you could save money and do much better if you want to hear music with great audio levels and separation.

Great sound, great battery. However, I have a question. I left one bud at home, and now the buds won't sync up. I have tried turning them off and back on. Again. Any solutions?

If you can look past the cheap chunky case -- these are an excellent purchase. The sound and noise cancellation are fantastic and exceeded my expectations. The touch controls are a nice feature and the robot voice informs you when noise cancellation is set on/off. They require less frequent adjustment than a certain Q-tip-shaped competitor and are quite comfortable to wear for extended periods. Call quality is acceptable -- the audio [on the recipient's side] sounds like you're talking into a mic purchased from the Dollar Store, but luckily the wearer [you] gets rich, clear sound. Don't get me wrong -- you won't be asked to repeat yourself 100 times on a call, but your voice won't sound nearly as clear and full as the audio you receive back. Battery life is excellent -- I haven't worn them more than a couple of hours at a time and the case seems to recharge them quickly, so no complaints there. The only knock against these earbuds is the case. It feels cheap and isn't pocket-friendly. The integrated charging cable was a neat idea, but I'd rather have a USB-C port and thinner case. Despite this flaw, I still highly recommend these earbuds. They're well-worth the price.

The ANC is cutting in and out with every bump on the road or loud sound. The non ANC ones are really good and sound the same. It not worth the money to get the ANC.

Only connect to one device - ever!

Good earbuds but with one significant flaw. Once paired with my Android phone, they will not connect to my Windows laptop. I warrantied the first pair and the replacement have the same issue. JLab doesn't have an answer for this significant flaw in their design. They have good sound quality but if I can only use on one device, they're not of much value.

I am very disappointed in these ear buds. I have only had them for a few months and they do not work consistently at all. Sometimes one works and the other doesn't. Sometimes one charges and the other doesn't. Sometimes they just don't connect when it shows they are connected. Sometimes they autoconnect when I receive a phone call! I have tried all the troubleshooting tips to no avail.

I didn't even connect them to my phone. I'm a runner. These need to stay in my ears, they barely stayed in when i was standing still. The fit is flimsy. I'm coming from Bose Soundsport, which would stay in no matter what. Looks like I'm going to have to pay for a decent fit. Returning immediately.

Hi there, in your product package you will find 3 different size tips, try out each and find the one that best fits. Then, when placing the buds in your ear give them a slight twist away from your face so the Cush Fin fits right in the cavity of your ear. If this doesn't help, please reach out to our customer support team to assist you. -JLab Audio jlabaudio-conv

Take these outside and use them with a slight wind. That is all you need to know. Prepare for your eardrums to get blasted with wind. You will not hear anything else. It says "noise cancelation" on the box. This is a typo. They meant to say "noise enhancement". I was using these on my bike. Bad idea

battery is fine, sound is ok, but they are so unstable they are unusable. within minutes of being cleaned with alcohol pads the rubber grip ring that slips over them becomes loose and greasy from normal body oil. i am a very clean person with out excessive oil so its just a poor design. you go to press the buttons and it moves it around; it has to be in your ear "just so" for the sound to be right. and the worst part, they have dropped out of my ear and i have been super, super lucky i havent lost or destroyed one. my biggest regret is i didn't really use them until after the return period was over.
