I was greatful to find this alternative, and for the fact that it is VERY affordable. It performs superbly. I have not had any complaints about its precision, and since I can alternate between different sensitivities to the movement, it is great for gaming too (I am definitely more of a casual than a hardcore gamer). It came in clutch too when my trackpad stopped working due to a missing driver. The mouse is fantastic and I would recommend it to anyone that is interested in ergo products.

It's unfortunate because this mouse would otherwise be a great budget purchase, but my experience is not unusual. After this happened to me, I found that a lot of people had the same experience, where their scroll wheel failed within 18months.
