You press a button, check your Bluetooth menu for it, and press pair. To that end, it does what you ask of it. I'm not shedding a tear listening to an orchestra and I'll never use its microphone for a call, but it works.

Comfort claim; I give them a C+. I have other/better headphones that are as or more comfortable. Sound; they get a D-. If I paid full price for them they would get an F. If you turn them up enough to listen to speech any sharp high pitch sound can be ear piercing. As for the mechanics; here is where they really fall down. The charging port is very, very difficult to access. Last but not least the on/off mechanism is an absolute paid in the backside. They were on sale for $15 bucks when I bought then and I had a $5 coupon so I paid $10 dollars. If I had paid full price they would have gotten only one star.
