They are very light weight and the Headband is padded metal making it very comfortable. The headband is adjustable which helps them nest lightly on my ears, even over my ball cap and glasses. They have enough padding on the earpieces to fit firmly, yet not too much where external sounds are inaudible. The pairing takes less than a minute to set up with a push of one button. I paired them with various devices: Laptops, Smartphone, iPad and tablets each one only taking seconds to connect. The controls are on the right earpad making it more convenient than fumbling for on-wire controls. When connected and turned on, the voice not only tells you, you are connected, but also gives you the amount of charge left in the battery. Sound – the sound quality is surprising good! No vibrating or interference even when on high volume and extra bass. The volume controls on the ear pad make it easy to adjust the volume without having to keep adjusting it on the device. Battery – After charging the battery, which only took about an hour to fully charge, I left them turned on to see how long it lasted. Without using them the battery lasted for several hours. I did use them for about 4 hours and the battery was still nearly full when I turned them off. Wireless – This is a definite Pro for these headphones. No more being tethered to a specified distance due to the length of a wire. I was able to walk around the house, upstairs, even in the basement, and the sound was as perfect as if I was sitting right next to my device. It started breaking up only when I went outside leaving my connected device inside. However, when I brought my device (in this case my SmartPhone) outside, I was able to do outdoor activities without missing a beat of my music, even when I was about 30’ away it was still clear! Overall, the JLAB Retro Style Wireless on ear headphones are convenient, comfortable and easy to use. If you like this type of on-ear headphones and don’t want to be limited to being tethered to your device, these are definitely for you!

These headphones are incredible, especially at such a small price. The sound is adequate and the design provides you all the function you may want, such as phone calls and easy connectivity via Bluetooth. I paired the Rewinds with a phone and all the functions worked via the single button on the right ear. I also paired the Rewinds with my laptop and again very easy and nice sound. I tried the equalizer and didn’t notice much difference between the sound levels but there were some detectable changes. I also I paired the Rewinds with a Sling AirTV box to watch TV. The Rewinds’ Bluetooth had no problem pairing with this device as well. Here, a very nice situation for me is that sometimes the in-ear buds or larger headphones can get a little uncomfortable after an hour or so. The design of the Rewinds being so light and to sit on your ear, allowed them to stay comfortable. Be aware that the charging cable connection is under the edge of the right ear-pad. The first time you connect the cable you will realize how to tilt the pad so that you can easily plug in the cable. The cable is designed a little long so you may think it is not fully seated but it is fine. Actually, this design ensures the port will stay clean so it is ideal in some ways. This design also won’t block out all ambient noise if that is one of your requirements. The metal band connecting the right and left ear-pads is much better than having just plastic. I’m not sure how JLAB was able to keep the price point so low considering the nice sound, solid construction and excellent Bluetooth circuits – a bit amazing. The sound will not wow you like audiophile level phones but they would cost about 20 times the price in my opinion if you want the high-end sound capability. I definitely would recommend these headphones based on their wireless Bluetooth connectivity, solid construction, light design, price and reasonable sound quality. A very wonderful little product.

Review for JLab Audio - Rewind Retro Wireless On-Ear Headphones - Black I have several sets of bluetooth earbuds and a nice pair of over-the-ear headphones; these headphones lands squarely between them in terms of comfort and function. Almost all earbuds cannot provide the sound quality of real headphones, these headphones sound good and allow for three different equalization settings! Over-the-ear headphones tend to be heavier and harder to transport; these headphones are comfortable, easy to put on, and super light. Pairing is easy and subsequent connections are fast. Voice prompts from the headphones make them easy to use. I did knock off a star for the blue tooth quality. When I’m inside, using Wi-Fi, I can leave my phone in another room and my music will not skip a beat, but once I walk outside, the music tends to skip. I found several things that improved transmission: shutting down other aps, switching my phone to the right pocket, and restarting my music. So many BT headsets have this problem, that I don’t think it’s a deal breaker — especially for the price!
