    I needed a tripod mountable phone clamp with a hot-shoe adapter so I could mount a mic or other hardware. This worked perfectly. The clamp is the same one marketed under the Manfrotto name. The tripod is all metal. Might qualify as a lethal weapon in some states so check your local laws and ordinances.
