Joker is a movie that absolutely didn't need to be made, and nobody wanted but it ended up being one of the best movies last year. Joaquin Phoenix's performance is absolutely beautiful, twisted, and outstanding. The look they used for The Joker in this film is in my opinion one of the best looks the character has had so far. Outstanding film, 10/10.

Awesome movie, and great addition to any steelbook collection. Cover design is pretty awesome as well. Sucks my copy came with a paint chip on the steelbook. Had no choice but to keep it though. They were sold out. Other than the paint chip (which does ruin it specially with a great movie as this one) it's a pretty awesome buy.

I purchased this movie awhile back and recently was able to view it and WOW!!!!! Mr. Phoenix you really deserved that oscar. This movie gave a different twist on the origin of the Joker and by the end you felt sorry and somewhat triumphant for him. I felt like i was back in Nolans Bat-verse.

This movie may not make you happy, but it is a great movie. It shows the plight of the Joker in this retelling as a tale of the failures of our health care systems and focuses on social disparity. The twists and turns with Joaquin Phoenix's portrayal of him are amazing.

If you never saw the film while it was in theaters, you are in for a treat/experience. Otherwise, it deserves to be seen again. The 4K rendition is top notch. Too bad? there are too few extras, but this way we get to have our own interpretation of the film. Definitely not for the little ones ,,, mostly because they just won't like it, IMHO.

Great movie and a unique take on an established character. I like to see these different takes on the DC universe as they expand. The marvel movies all seem the same to me lately so this was refreshing to watch. Has a lot of similarities to older Scorsese flicks in the mood and plot lines but fans of his will still appreciate what is offered here.

I may not have a lot to say about this movie but the one thing that everybody should do is see it. As a character piece to be the Joker it's an interesting one and it's dark and depressing but that's what makes it cool seeing what is one of the ways that Joker became who he is in this movie. See it and you'll find it an interesting watch.

At first we weren't sure about whether we wanted to see, much less buy this movie, but we are soooo glad we did make this purchase. Joaquin Phoenix was phenomenal in this movie. He played the role of the Joker to the T. This movie really portrays the mindset of the Joker, and it is fascinating.

in a line of great movies this movie lived up to the hype and then some. exceded my expectations which were already high after all the hype (I didn't get to catch it in the theater so opted to buy it). joaquin phoenix's performance is amazing in this, def a well deserved Oscar. looking forward to whatevers next for these series of joker films

Perhaps the main problem with Joker is also the best thing about it. Due to the desire to make this an exclamation mark of a movie, a one and done featuring one of the most visible and greatest villains of all time, it’s like having the last piece of candy in the jar. You savor it for how good it is, yet are left frustrated you can’t get more.

This movie is by far one of my favorite movies of all time. It makes you feel for one of the most infamous villains in comic history. The atmosphere and how Joaquin Phoenix portrays the joker ultimately makes for one the best performances. Plus this film really makes you think about mental illness and how some people think it's just a myth.

This film was fantastic, Joaquin Phoenix is outstanding as the joker and deserves all the praise he has gotten. The movie is worth watching for the acting alone but the setting was excellent at showing a dirty and crime filled 80s New York-Gotham. One last thing, Heath Ledger still is the best joker ever gotta add that to respect his memory.

This film definitely had audiences raving about the origin of the clown prince of crime. But this movie seemed like it was based in reality about a man with severe mental illness sinking into a void that would turn him down a path to become batman's nemesis. Great movie would recommend! This Steelbook is amazing and in 4K. Simply amazing

Love this movie. Even more, I love the controversy this movie caused, for no reason! This is a daunting tale of a human punching bag starting to find his confidence to punch back. When society creates a monster and the monster lashes out, no one lashes at society, and he finds that hilarious.

Don't write this off as just another comic book movie. This is a completely new origin story. You could remove the subtle references to the DC universe and rename Arthur's alter-ego something silly like Bonker and it would still be a Psychological-Thriller/Drama masterpiece in my eyes.

CEASAR ROMERO Was The Template. MARK HAMILL followed the guidelines; JACK NICHOLSON SET THE STANDARD & HEATH LEDGER BROKE THE MOLD... But JOAQUIN PHOENIX RISES ABOVE THEM ALL! He never "Danced with the DEVIL in the pale moon light..." 'HE" just does things," as THE SUPERIOR JOKER. Go see 'THE GOAT' CLOWN PRINCE OF CRIME!

Fantastic acting in this movie from Joaquin Phoenix. It's an interesting tale of how "The Joker" went from a full-time clown with a lack of sense of humor, to the villain from Batman that we all know and love today. It's a dark move and has a great story. in 4K on an OLED TV is incredible. Highly recommended and is worth watching a few times.

I'm a diehard Batman fan...like, big time. If some of you saw my collection you may try to commit me. Anyway... Joker is expertly acted and wonderfully directed; the camera-work is superb and the set pieces are amazing! But...this movie is 100% not for me. Before I say anything else, yes, Phoenix’s performance is incredible, so I'm not knocking anything on that level... I just felt this movie was so terribly paced and with horrendous structure. I found myself wondering what time it was while watching it and wondering what act it was on. Here's the thing... this wasn't a Joker movie. That wasn't the Joker! No matter how hard they try pushing it. No matter how hard you want it to be...it's not. This is a mental illness character study mixed with The French Connection and Taxi Driver with a DC Comics branding slapped sloppily on it. It’s obviously a pointless homage to the Scorsese classic, The King of Comedy, with a bit of Death Wish thrown in, which means that at various moments it’s a bit like those movies, only not as good. The thing with those aforementioned films? They had structure and an arc. Poor Arthur is just insane and keeps getting more insane; with his "transformation" into the Joker becoming nothing more than a series of “look what you made me do?” acts of violence. I don't care who you are, if you've read ONE Batman or Detective Comics issue with Joker as the antagonist, you KNOW that is not the Joker. This was such a grim film with zero payoff for me. I'm super happy I got to see it. Like I said, the film is MASTERFUL when it comes to the acting, directing and cinematography...but when it comes to gritty, realistic takes on Batman and his rogues gallery I'll just stick to the Nolan series.

First off I will admit that I am bias in the sense that the joker is one of my favorite characters of all time. With that being said, speaking objectively, this is a slow- build up, character study that ends with a Bang! The performances are great, the cinematography is pretty good, and the realization of Gotham is as legit as it can get.
