Safety Strap is in the wrong place

The only annoying part is that you have to take off the black safety strap off to charge the unit. The safety strap is attached to the black plastic unit that slides onto the controller. The problem with this is that my kids NEVER slide the black piece onto the controllers. Its an extra step that they don't take. the strap really should be attached to the bottom left corner of the unit on an angle. This would keep the strap attached and not require the extra step.
