It was nice that they had these available in my area when no places around where I am currently living have these colors. This is the second set. Unfortunately the first replacement pair developed really bad stick drift within a week. On the plus side, BestBuy replaced them no questions asked and now it works as expected. We have had all together 4 switch consoles in our house this was the only pair to ever get stick drift.

Our kids love the colors and they work amazing. Now our girls want pink ones.

I feel like these controllers are the worst for any type of hand size especially if you plan on using it for a long time. I was only forced to buy this because the Joy-Cons that came with the Nintendo switch were malfunctioning and were doing that phantom movement or whatever's it's called. I'm sure the lifetime of these controllers will last a bit longer because I have been using my pro controller more than ever. I would only recommend buying this if you need extra remotes to play those multiplayer games. Otherwise, just buy the pro controller.

i was stuck between these and a pro controller. Difference is that these can be combined to make a pro controller(sort of) and then split to enable 4 players to play. Great product

For everything I like about the Joycons there’s 3 things I dislike about them. Much like most of Nintendo’s other controllers they all have their quirks. Personally I feel they’re a little too expensive for what they are. I never thought they were the most comfortable things out there either. I don’t mind the a symmetrical design when it comes to full size controllers like the pro controller or even the Xbox controller but for these I feel like they’re just too clustered. With that said I can adapt to that and eventually look past it. What really bothers me is the build quality. I’ve gone through 2 pairs of joycons and I primarily use the system docked with the pro controller. The Joycons are prone for stick drift and for 70-80 dollars controllers not even lasting a couple years with light use is disgusting. The last pair I bought I wised up and purchased the protection plan so when these break ( which they will ) I’ll swap them out and buy another protection plan.

They might seem pricey, but they are worth it. They're great to use together or as separate controllers. Though they look too small to be comfortable, they're surprisingly just fine.

First off I'm reviewing this product solely on the principle of what it does as its intended. I myself have not experienced joycon drift on any of my pair of joycons but YMMV. Secondly I picked these up because I needed more controllers for smash bros which brings me to my first positive. You technically get two controllers with each pair of joycons when played with on their side so it eases the $80 price tag. Next positive are the colors which I think Nintendo tends to do right making each pair distinctive and unique. My one con I can think of which again I haven't experienced myself is the drifting issue which must suck for those that get it.

Love these new joy-cons. I was still using my original pair that came with my Switch in 2017 and the were starting to get the dreaded "drift" malfunction. I considered buying cheaper knock-off Switch joy-cons, but happy I went with the real deal for the replacement. I feel like the batteries in them so rarely need charing.

Don't buy the aftermarket ones. Those don't work that well. These are great. Love having different colors so each kid has their own

The controllers are such bright colors like they are on the box. They also hold a charge for a long time.

The extra controllers are the exact same as the one that comes with the switch. It also includes the strap. Great to have for multi-player games to enjoy with the whole family.

I love the colors! I've had no issues with the controllers. I just popped them on my Switch and they worked right away! Loving them and may even purchase more for party play!

Needed extra controllers & my son loved these colored ones. Work just as should. We love the switch & nintendo brand accessories are dependable!

These are a little pricey but totally worth it if you want to play local multiplayer games like Minecraft and ARMS. It also allows you to go 4 player Rocket League locally.

These Joy-Cons look great on my Nintendo Switch. I preordered my Grey Joy-Con Switch on January 13th as soon as Best Buy started taking orders, and picked my unit up at the midnight launch of my local Best Buy store. Myself and others who preordered were allowed into the store early and when I got to the counter, I asked if I could switch my Gray Switch for the Neon Switch. I was told I could not do this, which really didn't make sense as the store had dozens more units available to customers who did not preorder. The Joy-Cons work great, but I would have appreciated Best Buy not making me spend $70 to get the color of controller I wanted.
