The purple and orange combination on these joy-con are great. Like other joy-con the colors are matte but very bright especially on both of these over even the red and blue original colors. Nothing else really separates these from other joy-con as far as features and performance. Great addition if you are needing some extra controllers.

I bought the switch when it first came out and I had the red blue neon controllers. I don’t normally have ocd but the different colors drove me crazy. The controllers finally succumbed to the infamous joy con drift and aren’t usable anymore. Found these and they’ve been great so far! Happy they are similar color.

so I dont' have peeps over all the time but when the wife and I do and they are not hardcore gaming types we throw in Mario party and it always seems to be a popular pick. these controllers work great for the game though sometimes I need to instruct the others on button usage. they are like the ones the switch comes with. so if you like those you'll like these.

Indeed, very excited to own the Gray Switch. The Neon Blue/Red adds a whole new level of excitement to the experience. These are not very gaudy, rather subtle enough, just the right amount of shine. Initially I thought I would save this exclusively for my kid's use. But I must confess, I have been using them more than my KIDS.
