The official nintendo joy-cons are very high quality and I have no complaints about them or their battery life. However, they are way too expensive. $80 for a game controller is just too much.

Between for myself and others Ive purchased over ten of these remotes since 2017. All of them still function well, even after going through playtime with very young kids. The higher name brand price is worth it in this case.

I wasn't sure if we needed to get another set of joy cons for our newly purchases Switch. I'm glad we did. I think it's possible to play games with just 1 joy con but it seems you can do more with 2 joy cons used on 1 game. You can charge them on the switch or you can pick up a joy con charger. We are just using the switch as a charging station as we don't drain the batteries when we play (limiting our playing time to about 1 hr/day). The switch batteries seem to last quite a long time.

The colors are so cute and bright. Controllers work amazing and I am very happy with my purchase!

These are the best Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons hands down. The colors are bright and contrast to make the Switch really stand out.

I think these are the 4th set of Joy Cons I have purchased and these have held up the longest so far and no drift... yet.

I had a hard time swallowing the fact that an extra set of controllers is $80, but they're a must for multiplayer games. I use them for Mario Kart and Just Dance and additionally I rotate them as an extra set during TV mode while my primary controllers are charging on the console. I purchased this item in store and the sales associate it didn't know whether they came with the slide-in handle section and it doesn't specify on the box. Watched an unboxing video to determine that it does indeed come included.

Love this set, wanted it since it was released in the Splatoon 2 bundle. So bright and vibrant and work perfectly.

Because these are both right and left original replacement joy-cons by Nintendo there is no compatibility issue when using to replace broken joy-cons and the Switch can be used immediately. However, the joy-cons do break fairly easily if dropped on a hard surface and this can happen to anyone. I think they could, and should, be made a little more rugged but I guess this is one of the ways the Nintendo makes their money. If you purchase this set to replace one broken joy-con, if the other one breaks, you have a spare. I'm not crazy about the price as well.

Brand new joy-con for the switch, it works like a charm, but for how long? My last joycon pair began to have the infamous drifting problem so I bought another to hold me over until Nintendo's repair center reopens. I recommend the joy con, but be aware that the joysticks do generally begin to behave strangely after a few years. Last I heard Nintendo still repairs these for free, but I would recommend having extras to use just in case.

I absolutely love the colors that it came with and they work perfectly on my switch. A must have!

One of the most unique set of controllers ever created. Bought to replace previous defective controllers (due to the common 'drift' issues). Love the feel of this and what it can do (sensor, camera, motion control, etc) and perfect size for my little kids (ages 3 and 7). Easy to pair and connect to your existing system. Just too bad that all joy cons will end up experiencing joystick problems. Other than that, love what it can do.
