Obviously they’re the oem so you’d think they’d be well built and work perfectly especially for the price ! But we went through 4 sets in less than a month ! One set didn’t connect to the system straight out of the box never used ! One set works well for about 3 days then the buttons stopped working, one set lasted for a week it had problems staying connected from the get go but we tried to live with it till it just stopped working completely. We’re on set number 4 now and they’re working but have issues staying on the system they disconnect really easily, don’t know if it’s a quality control issue or if it’s just something with these particular colors, the other switch controllers we’ve bought are all really fragile yes but these in particular are really defective at least from our experience. I do have to say that Best Buy is the best place to buy these controllers .

We needed more controllers. The colors are Bright and the work great.

Just looking at the joy cons tell you that they are fragile. I have no idea how long these will last, but from what I can tell you is that if the left one doesn't work, the right one becomes obsolete or vice versa. Nintendo only offers these as pairs, so if one is broken you are collecting unpaired joy cons. For those individuals with large hands, the controllers are hard to manage as the buttons are too small. These controllers were made to fit into many other accessories to increase revenue.
