Over all they look like the original ones that came with the switch.

We have the original red/blue set and we love that these colors are bright and add variety to our play use.

As with all Nintendo product, very high quality in construction. Not a great value in that Nintendo overcharges for what you gut. I prefer the more traditional controller like what you might have with a regular game console.

Standard Joy-Con with cooler colors

The kids all have to have different colors so these are a must-have item. Perform just like any other Joy-Con -- just different colors.

Upgrading would be a good idea, but for what they are, they are good if you need to save space, but want extra controllers.

Great set of joy cons

Connect them directly to the switch first then they seamlessly connect in any wireless config after that. And they look great! My only complaint is they're a little overpriced.
